...and put Fromm in good play action pass situations?

This has to be the Dawg’s gameplan, right?

Grind on LSU’s often suspect defense, move the chains, burn clock, and keep Borrow & pals on the bench.

Can LSU stop the run AND keep Fromm from burning them?

LSU will have the third best run defense on Georgia's schedule this year. We come in at 28th nationally. Will swift even play? If he does, he won't be 100%. LSU will stop the run.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, all LSU needs to do is put UGA's offense in 3rd and obvious passing downs. The defense is surging and playing at it's best, UGA fricked.

The only way Georgia has a chance in this game is to keep the ball out of LSU's hands. Win the TOP by a lot, that is the game plan. If this game gets away from Georgia they don't have the passing firepower to play in a shoot out. Just my two cents here.

LSUs defense struggled because of having so many players out or hurt or playing hurt. They are finally getting healthy and it showed vs the Aggots.

If UGA had the ability to control time it wouldnt have been 40 years since they won a national title.

I think knowing you are there wide-eyed with drool running down your chin, screaming at your television for God to smite LSU, will be just enough to push Georgia and Bama over the top.

It would be nice to jump out to few scores lead make them feel pressure to keep up

Is UGA going to get a new OC and will Kirby stay out of their way? If the answer is no to either one of these UGA’s chances are slim at best.

That's pretty short-sighted.

It doesn't matter if each team gets 8 possessions or 16, what matters is which defense can get more stops/turnovers.

Let's say UGA has a 10 minute drive that ends up with a FG. They kick the ball to LSU, and Burrow proceeds to lead the team down to a TD in 2 minutes. UGA goes on another 10 minute drive, and turns the ball over on a fake FG attempt. LSU then drives down the field for a TD in 2 minutes. At this point in the hypothetical, LSU would be up 14-3, while Joe has spent most of the game on the bench.

The entire key now is to get defensive stops.

Arkansas held the ball for 40:29 while LSU had it for only 19:31. LSU scored 56 points on them.

We haven’t struggled on short yardage situations like we did last year. When our Oline is healthy and not shuffled around we do well. If Swift can’t go then the bigger backs Herrien and White will pound for yards. James Cook may surprise.

Can you imagine the melt on here if little ole UGA pulls off a miraculous victory. It would rival their loss to Bama in the 2011

Uh, no it wouldn't. LSU didn't lose to Alabama in 2011, they actually beat them in Tuscaloosa.

That absolutely has to be the game plan. The danger in that is LSU is such a quick strike lethal offense. Also if they try to continually run in the I then we’ll load the box and can Fromm move the chains in obvious passing situations. LSU can stop the run in prostyle offenses. It’s spread read option teams that’s given them hell (ole miss and Texas).

I agree it’s gotta be their game plan but if they blink and miss a possession or two, LSU could easily be up 2 scores and they’ll have to abandon the run and trust Fromm to sling it

I don't think anyone is saying that Georgia doesn't have a chance in this game. That would be extremely naive. I think what most are saying is that it's a very bad match up for Georgia considering Georgia's short coming this year on offense. Georgia's defense is plenty capable of keeping this game close, aka Auburn.

But with that said, the ball went Auburn's way a lot in that game. That game shouldn't have been as close as it was, but it was!
