And?
Lifetime "fans" go elsewhere all the time. Look at Bo Nix.

I’m a lifelong LSU fan but would play for Alabama over LSU for $6m more dollars. I wouldn’t be happy about it but that’s life changing money for you and your family and you never know when you could have a career ending injury. Would be selfish to turn it down.
I'm not addressing whether he will leave or not. I don't care. The guy I responded to originally made a comment that basically said he was leaving no matter what "unless he is a lifelong fan" or some junk. Just point out, that's not an if. It's been confirmed on here many times. So why is someone so uninformed giving their opinion on the matter.
Like you, I would probably take a lot of money to play for a team other than Arkansas. But if the offers were anywhere close, I'd pick Arkansas. So, I'm not even arguing that point.
quote:
Until MSU can show that they can sustain the slot of NIL offers to their star players, then you have to assume that a stud quarterback won’t be there long unless he’s truly a fan of that school.
It's already been explained ad nauseum that he IS a lifelong MSU fan. Don't blame others bc you and OP are still ignorant to the fact.

Apparently, their RT graded out as the best RT in the nation this past week.

"Wouldn't start at Mississippi State".
Of course he wouldn't. Neither would Grandpa Chambliss. They may have the best QB in the conference.
But yes, Leavitt is hit or miss.

Your defense does look legit, but your offense has been slow to start in both games (I think both, I know Towson for sure) and the scores have been inflated by punt returns and I think defensive TDs (admittedly, I haven't watched more than 2 quarters of USC so far this year).
They're definitely better this year, but I think it's hard to say how much just because the competition has been so bad. For teams that can control Sellars and Fuller in the run game, I think your offense is going to really struggle to move the ball. Is State one of those teams, I don't know. But, I think they will score 30+, so you'd better hope they're not.

SC is the only team in the country that is in the Top 12 in Scoring Off & Def, Total Off & Def.
Total offense MSU #2, LSU #3, UGA #4, SC #5, UF #6
Scoring offense UGA #1, UF #3, SC #12
Total defense LSU #1,UGA #5, Bama #6, SC #8
Scoring defense SC #1 (tie),
You've played Kent State and Towson. At least State played what was supposed to be a decent BIG team already. I'm wondering if the step up in competition will play heavily to State's advantage for the first quarter or two. If it does, I think they've already proven that may be long enough for them to put the game away. Starting with 2 cupcakes is a horrible strategy, imo.

I think Florida, by a fair margin.
Your mom goes to college.
Someone was going on about he was definitely the right guy last week.
You dolts brought him back to the conference. Look in the mirror.

Guess you watched a different game than the one I watched.

I melted only because we couldn't fire his dumb arse, not because I wanted to keep him. I was done with him from the OU game onwards, but mostly wanted his bullshite to stop.

No, but you are the one who:
1. Loved the account while Lane was at Ole Miss
2. Thought it was a great idea while Lane was at Ole Miss
3. Worshipped Lane while he was at Ole Miss
4. Talked about how great of a person he was after his "reformation" at Ole Miss.

It's against the bylaws.
What you quoted as the "bylaw" in another post doesn't even remotely relate to this scenario.

Well, that's great and all, but what about teams like Ole Miss who judge shopped to get a 24 year old granted his 6th year of eligibility for no reason whatsoever?
I'm glad they're killing this part of it, but the Trinidad thing's just as bad, and we can't stop it? Literally because an Ole Miss fan, who happens to be a piddly judge in some podunk backwoods town in Mississippi, wants his alma mater's team to be relevant?

Hey moron, Ole Miss opened this bag of turds by getting a local judge to openly cheat so that Trinidad could get a 6th year because he had a sore throat one game in JUCO.
Plenty of fanbases can complain, but you're not one of them.
