UH getting into a "major" conference was the biggest fear Texass has had since the demise of the SWC. They persistenly blocked the addition of UH to anything.

UH is going to be a problem for Texass in the Houston area recruiting circles. UH kicked the shite out of Texass plenty when they had equal footing.

Really?

Instantly makes the Big 12 better than the ACC and on par with the Big 10 Pac or actually better.....

Very good move for the Big 12. TexASS had blocked these moves for years , but now they are out of the picture .....

And if the Big 12 survives, the GOR survives. UT and OU stuck for at least a couple more years, and will likely still be in Big 12 when the new programs join.

Loooing forward to seeing UT and OU lose to Cincy and UCF on the way out the door.

I read the payouts with adding the teams should put them above the Pac 12 and on par with the ACC, crazy ESPN is still going to pay them roughly what they already make, they might make like $5 million less per team, that means they will retain the P5 status

What a nightmare for travel in that conference. They going to have kids flying from Orlando to Provo mid-week to play a volleyball game?

Then to Ohio and West Virginia -

I'm sure you are. Few things excite aggy as much as new skirts to hide behind. Sadly for you, we'll be playing in the SEC in 2022.

It feels watered down now. UCF and Cincinnati won't be able to run the table anymore and everyone is going to beat up on each other.

Big East 2.0

I have absolutely no interest in watching that conference ever again.

BYU is problematic. They don't play on Sunday.

Week 0 - Zero games played on Sunday
Week 1 - One game played on Sunday (both ACC affiliated)
Week 2 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 3 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 4 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 5 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 6 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 7 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 8 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 9 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 10 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 11 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 12 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 13 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday
Week 15 - Zero games scheduled for Sunday

Bowl Games - Zero bowl games scheduled for Sundays

It looks like it wouldn't be problematic at all.

Big 12 might actually be a better conference with those additions.

They won't have a truly dominant team like the Clemson with the ACC and Oregon with PAC but will have better depth than both of those conferences. In terms of actual football play the B12 is middle of the pack in terms of power conferences.

I can’t find my reading glasses. Can one of you tell me where it says you're going to the Big 10?

There are other conference sports that play on Sunday.

Someone was actually telling me a few weeks ago about a club team from BYU (in a different sport) that had to forfeit every time they did well, because the championships were always on a Sunday.

Not sure how this would affect the other Big 12 teams. BYU forfeiting a championship game only has a negative effect on BYU.

Such sad deflection.
