Interesting from a basketball perspective.

The Big 12 is going to survive. And not only that. But probably be better going forward with these 4 programs.

Yes, the Big 12 will stay Power 5 with these additions, and will be better than the Pac, and maybe the ACC, from day one.

And if the Big 12 survives, the GOR survives. UT and OU stuck for at least a couple more years, and will likely still be in Big 12 when the new programs join.

Why are you so scared? You better up the testosterone levels before 2022.

Y’all sound like a scratched CD.

That was only if the big 12 dissolved. It won’t so it’s not necessary to join the Big Ten.

Ahh. Well, I am sure the Big 12 is going to really thrive with these new additions.

Enjoy, I guess?

Not as much as I’m going to enjoy this upcoming December’s thrashing.

Not sure how the CFP can just say your no longer part of the Autonomous 5 and Nd group, pretty sure there is a contract.

However, with them sayin 2023.. does that mean UT and OU will get a buy out deal to leave earlier and start then in the SEC. would think so, since to make them stay 2 more years and the scheduling.. and everything. Would be way too much.

No KU fan knows what a top football recruit looks like.

Baseball and Basketball play on Sunday, along with many other sports.

Golf tournaments, Softball tournaments can often go into Sunday because of rain delays, Soccer, etc. etc. There is a reason they were not taken before now.

In addition, BYU is the "big" stadium, by getting over 60k people. The rest play to often not sold out stadiums in the 40k - 45k range.

It is a reactionary cluster

You’re in a conference with UCF, Houston, TCU, Baylor, Iowa State, Cincinnati, and Kansas State…you basically became the AAC

Absolutely nobody is scared of Texas and Seven Win Steve. Personally, I just want those entitled fricks to reap what they sow. You will pay out the nose to leave (and should for trying to destroy yet another conference). And you still have to face those teams on the field this year, and probably next as well at the minimum

It’s sounding more like 2023 now. I’m hoping OU, Tx, SEC, ESPiN, we’re forward thinking enough that it gets us out of the Big 12-2+2-2-2+4 after this season. Both OU and Tx voted for the expansion.

I don't know that we fully know. B12 still has to determine what the new TV right will be. Every year that this is delayed ESPN has to drop 15M into the empty LHN hole.

Whatever happens, I believe the SEC brass already know what is going to be

I could see a two-tiered media rights option. One straight up for what they think the new B12 is worth, (which may be less than some of those teams think). And one if there is a reduced escape.

I think we have someone that has been allowed on their mom's computer to immediately downvote every OU post. Really pretty cute.

Meh. BYU will bring eyeballs and tv sets. Houston? I don't think they will offer much. Houston is a Aggie and UT town. The SEC already has the Houston, and now Austin and Dallas markets from adding OU and UT. Cincy is not a big draw either. UCF, although they have a huge student body, is competing with Florida, Miami and FSU. The SEC owns the Florida tv markets as well. So, what is the true overall value? I can't see Fox or ESPN wanting to give a big contract to the Big 12. Hell they didn't want to give it to them with Texas and OU in the conference
