Tbh they should be thanking LSU for molding Saban into who he is today. Guy was a nobody back at MSU!

Nah. Saban is only at Alabama because we’re Alabama. He wouldn’t have left Miami for any other job.
We only need to thank Mal Moore and all of the boosters who made the hire happen.
However, I’m glad he got to cut his teeth in the SEC at a less prestigious school like LSU before taking on a high profile position like Alabama.

Louisiana is just a gold mine for talent. It’s impossible for LSU to keep every guy from Louisiana. Just impossible. Smith was never even committed to LSU. It was a timing thing. He went to Alabama and good for him. It’s not like he flipped on signing day and betrayed us or anything. But as far as saban, he knows how important recruiting Louisiana , Florida and Georgia is. You don’t have success at Bama without snagging guys from those states.

That's your opinion...and you know what they say, every rear end has one. IMO , and I am not an Alabama fan, this years edition of Alabama ain't to bad, but I would never claim any team "goat". That is foolish, and very biasly vain.

LSU beat 5 final top 10 teams - #2, #4, #6, #7 and #8. They beat 6 of the final top 15 and 7 of the final top 25. Obviously, end of the year rankings are what matter. That's the most ever.
