Well Saban and Verge are friends. Lane looks up to Saban as a mentor. It makes sense that both would call him.

NCAA should argue that Ole Miss is a member program and the fact that Chambliss agreed to play for them is an agreement to follow the rules set by the governing body that the members agreed to via conference commissioners.

Well last year there was a portal window after the spring game for people to watch your players and offer them money to leave. Thats gone.

The buyout difference between now and the end of the season is irrelevant at this point.
The difference is that Bk was killing the brand. That was straight from a big booster's mouth. Basketball has been bad for a long time and made money. If boosters want him gone, he'll be gone.
