No one expected A&M to crater like they have. They were supposed to be a playoff contender. Losses to Arkansas and State? Not even on the radar in the preseason. I expected this to be our toughest game of the year.

As it turns out, Auburn will be our toughest game of the year.

We lost Mac, Davonta, Waddle and Najee.

Those guys don't come around everyday, even at Alabama.

They used to. I mean Calvin Ridley, Amari Cooper, Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, Damien Harris, Kenyan Drake, etc etc.

This is probably our least talented group of skill players in a LONG time. Our best guy is a transfer from OSU, so we've been whiffing in recruiting apparently.

Agiye Hall looks like a beast, but Saban won't let him play for whatever reason. Trey Sanders looks like a beast, but Saban won't let him play for whatever reason. Camar Wheaton was looking good in camp, but he got injured - he might be available later on in the season.
Who frickin knows.
Our best playmakers right now are our TEs, and Jameson Williams from OSU. Brian Robinson is a pretty damn good power back, but not much speed.
quote:

Not as much talent at WR? No harm in that when you lost four first rounders.

This is all it is. Jameson Williams and Bryce need to get on the same page to start hitting some deep balls. People say that Bryce has been overthrowing, but Jameson has also been running the routes wrong. Bryce is not an inaccurate passer - just look at some of the incredible deep throws he's made to Billingsley and Williamson in the first game, and Metchie (who dropped it) vs. Florida.

There have been a lot of drops.

Our best WR - Agiye Hall is in the doghouse for his academics apparently. We might even see him in the lineup by the time the Georgia game rolls around - doubtful, but who knows.

Do you think that if a married man is cheating on his wife, that's okay? Do you feel the same way about a married woman cheating on her husband?

Why should I, or anyone else aside from the Meyers, give one frick about Urban's personal life, and his marriage?

He's a football coach. period. If he cheats on his wife, and gets a divorce, I really don't care. I don't know him or his wife. It's really nobody's business

Who hasn't done something stupid while drinking? If this happened at Church, then that is different. It happened at a bar with a willing participant. Not a Meyer fan at all but I still don't think some chickenshit videoing and posting it is right in any way shape or form.

Absolutely
quote:

That said, he should know how things work in this day and age, so he was being pretty stupid putting himself in this situation.

I say bullshite. None of us would want to be treated this way. I'm sure we've all probably gotten drunk and hooked up with some sleazy girl at a bar. When you're drunk and some girl is grinding on you, you're not thinking about some pencil necked bitch filming you with a smartphone, nor should you be.
Let the man live his life. He obviously has some problems. Who are we to judge?
So a guy got drunk at a bar, and some sleazy girl started grinding on him, and someone whipped out a smart phone and saw him do something a little sexual with his hand.

What's the big deal?
Is he not allowed to have sex? Is he not allowed to pick up girls at a bar? Did he break the law?

Is a man who gets a little touchy feely with a girl who's grinding on him "a bad look"?

I feel like I'm missing something as this is something that most NFL players probably do every weekend.

Miami? Mercer? Ole Miss?

Ole Miss has a Heisman candidate at QB - or at least they did. Ole Miss would give the dawgs a game. We absolutely destroyed them.

Again, Georgia's defense is built to stop the run. That's Kirby's MO. Georgia hasn't played a single QB yet who's worth a sack of shite. Bo Nix will be the absolute best QB they've faced. We'll see what happens to that "insane" defense...
quote:

To be the best you have to beat the best. Alabama will and should remain #1 until they lose a game, if that even happens.

With that being said, the SEC Championship game is shaping up to be a war.

Agree with this sentiment.

I have to say though, Alabama has the better QB, so for that reason I'm liking our chances. Bryce Young is still green, but by December he's going to be straight-up lethal.

Bama doesn’t look like Bama of the past and you might score 17 against our defense.

This shite is hilarious. Our offense has been virtually unstoppable so far. Georgia hasn't played a single team yet with a halfway decent QB, so I understand why you think your defense is so amazing.

That 7 point win over Clemson isn't looking so good now is it?
Just because you crushed a shitty Arkansas team doesn't mean shite.
We'll learn a lot about the dawgs over the next 3 games. I think they'll lose one.
To this point, Georgia hasn't played anyone, yet everyone is hyping them up like they're the team of the century.

I agree they look good, but Alabama has faced tougher opponents to this point.

Florida and Ole Miss are tougher tests than Clemson and Arkansas, and Alabama came out and dominated both Florida and Ole Miss, before relaxing and letting them come back into the game a little bit.

Alabama at this point looks better than Georgia.
I think the game vs. Auburn in JHS will be revealing. This is Georgia's toughest test to date - by far.
True, I wouldn't bet on it, but Kirby has a penchant for shitting the bed, and Mullen seems to have his number. They're the only team that has a small chance of beating Georgia in the reg season.

BUT truth be told, Georgia hasn't played a single noteworthy opponent yet. They played an overrated, one-dimensional Arkansas, and a horrible Clemson team.

Auburn will be the best team they've faced to this point, and we'll learn a lot about both Georgia and Auburn this weekend.
Let's be honest, the vast majority of football players come from low income areas, and have double digit IQs
Nahh Georgia is too good. They win by 20 plus
If your whistleblower gets a special on 60 minutes, and a congressional hearing, they're not a whistleblower - they're a planted stooge.

This is one of the most absurd things I've ever seen in my life.
This man claims he was called the n-word with NO EVIDENCE, and NO WITNESSES, and gets awarded $137 million.
Apparently the case was held in San Francisco, which explains a lot.

This is more money than most A-list celebrities have ever made. This is a RIDICULOUS sum of money. It's a sign of how absolutely absurd our society has gotten.
