My two choices would be Mel Tucker or Neal Brown.

Want: Neal Brown, Lane Kiffin, or Mike Norvell.

Prediction: we'll get someone very boring and/or unqualified.

I would add Lane Kiffen to the list. He would get the offense cooking but wonder who he would bring in to be the DC....Chris?

Neal Brown would be a safe hire. He has done real well with limited talent at Troy and think if we took care of him he would stay with us.

Mel Tucker is outside the box. He has NFL and Bama coaching experience and could likely land some great coordinators and assistants.

Norvell or Neal Brown

Anyone that thinks we can't get either of those is certifiably insane

Norvell....there has to be something there that we can’t risk.

I second these choices. Could we also go after Larry Fedora/Mike Bobo?

I would prefer someone with head coaching experience.

Any thoughts on Seth Littrell or Frank Wilson?

Seth Littrell is definitely intriguing considering what he has done at North Texas.

Frank Wilson strikes me as McGriff .v2. All flash, no substance and hasn’t done anything as HC of UTSA.

shite I’d take Cody Prewitt at this point. Isn’t he slinging cars somewhere in Mississippi?

We'll promote McGriff to HC. Give him a $6 million salary to keep it "respectable" and a 10 year contract because "it's the right thing to do."

Bill Clark, Neal Brown or Mike Norvell.

Clark has literally built a program from the ground up.

ETA: Hell no to Lane Kiffin.

ETA2: Mike Houston also deserves a look.

Why kiffin? Toxic personality and can't handle pressure. Has done worsw at places with more talent and money(usc,Tenn). Don't get the hype.

Why, because he can coach offense, can assemble a good staff and can recruit. His cons is he is a bit of a drama queen which some would call toxic. I see him as the next Old Ball Coach.

I would also take Hugh Freeze or Mike Norvell.

How about Ryan Day, the guy who filled in for Urban Meyer ? He is a QB coach
with NFL coaching experience and is part of a successful Ohio State program.
