Joe Moorehead might be available if "Hail Thate" loses even more game. They evidently thought they were going undefeated this year judging by the meltdown that began Saturday night and has continued into today with zero loss of momentum.

Because the AD is supposed to handle most of that stuff and leave the coaching to the coach. The NCAA compliance director is supposed to have the coach's back and advise them/ prevent them from making those types of mistakes. David Wells did a good job with this. On the field and recruiting trail, Freeze was a winner. I'm not going to knock the guy for a single tweet no matter how stupid it was. As for recruiting defensive players, he had 2 years where he had top guys committed throughout the cycle only to have them sign elsewhere by surprise on signing day. Should he have focused more on this? Yes. But hindsight is 20-20 and he damn sure would be doing a better job of recruiting and coaching than Matt Luke is.

The other reason that I would hire Freeze is because I cannot think of another coach out there that is as qualified as he is, especially now that he has been through this tough period.

A lot of folks try to throw all of our problems that we have now on Freeze when the fact is that he has been hounded by the NCAA over a lot of bogus shite and won despite of it. He was never given a chance to fix the D, so that can't be on him either. He also had a shitty AD which was not then but is now very apparent. He was not allowed to get rid of the golden fat arse Luke so that he could have a decent OL and in turn running game. I blame the NCAA for making a mountain out of nothing and sitting in Oxford for damn near 6 years until they cobbled enough piddly shite together to hammer us and with a complete lack of solid evidence. No, I do not blame Freeze for what other people did to try to take down our program.

In spite of the world falling down around him and the lack of support he had from department, the motherf_cker still took us to two NY6 bowls and top 10 rankings.

Let's just say OM wanted Freeze back and offered him the job. Do y'all think he'd take it?
