Except for those 12,000 targets, killing 3 layers of their leadership including the Ayatollah, wiping out their navy and ballistic missiles, burying their nuclear facilities, etc. yep, nothing changed.

Who cares about 12,000 targets if you have a third world dump of a country dictating terms because our trillion dollar military can't hold the strait open.
This is so humiliating for JD Vance in particular.
Trump and Vance be like, "Sounds great, want some more money as well? Just please don't close the strait and hurt our midterm chances."
Mexico? A reliable ally? They're almost completely responsible for our illegal immigration and drug-related issues. When in recent history has Japan or South Korea fought alongside the US?

My criticisms of Trump aside, he is showing humility and letting JD take the stage. There is a 100% chance that Vance will win the republican nomination and be a 2 term president.

By creating the worst MOU in the history of western civilization and tanking the relationship with our only reliable ally in Israel?
Vance needs to go back to Ohio and stay as far away from anything of political consequence after this horrendous Iran MOU.

Trump is giving the world a master class on how to deal with a bully. You punch him in the nose, then take his lunch money, and then….

Which part of giving them 300bn, lifting sanctions, and unfreezing assets is "taking his lunch money".

Let me just reiterate what I quoted

Histrionics aside. I'm genuinely curious on how you would effectively hold the strait open beyond bribing them with a 300bn bailout fund.

You're making a lot of crucial assumptions there to ignore the reality of the fallout

Honestly, once you solve the cost disparity issue between bomb laden low-cost drones and the defense mechanisms to counter them then the strait issue becomes easier to solve. Using multi-million dollar missiles to counter drones dispatched by the hundreds at a fraction of the price isn't sustainable. Honestly, countering missile strikes on vessels are probably easier as you can pre-emptively knock out production and launch sites and they're much more expensive to produce.

If you want a global depression, sure.

Iran closes the strait then we have a global depression.

We completely level their country and take absolute control of the strait, also global depression.
I didn't have France having bigger balls than the US on my 2026 bingo card.
Good. Amazing that we have replaced France as cowards on the world stage.

The fact that we spend so much money on our military but piss down our legs when a third world backwater country threatens to shut down a water way should be disquieting.
They've actually pivoted from Great White to just White shark. I kid you not. For "scientific reasons".
Basically Mississippi went from "No child left behind" to "We'll retain until they can pass the test." They haven't gotten more effective at teaching literacy as much as they no longer push along students that would endanger their reading test scores.

What you'll see if you dig past the PR statistics is a larger percentage of older students taking the 3rd-4th grade reading test than intended.

I'm so grateful that Iran has allowed our gas prices to drop. Maybe if Trump fellates them harder, they'll drop it below $50.
Oh no. I guess we won't get to sign the deal that encourages us to pay 300bn to rebuild Iran.
I feel bad for the father. You find out that your son is a murderer and also a gay, transgender lover in a matter of days.
The first is just an internet meme being used as a wink and nod to other chronically online losers that frequent those DeviantArt, Tumblr, discord cesspools.

The second and third are antifa memes. The fourth is a tongue-in-cheek gag directed at whoever finds the casing.

This isn't hard.

Evidence suggests that he was a chronically online loser that sympathized with antifa and probably frequented furry discord servers but there's enough ambiguity to give the left their talking points for the future.
He probably drowned himself in the nearby Utah Lake.
