what is the point of having an entire forum dedicated to Ole Miss sports when news and discussion is just crammed into a single thread?
I come to these team forums to learn about the different football teams and I can't learn anything because the info is hidden in a long thread.

We used our NIL that was earmarked for Judkins to go get Buelow and Kalepo, I just don’t think people realize how good our Oline will be compared to last year. LSU and Georgia’s big uglies are getting all the preseason hype and for good reason. But Micah Pettus, arguably our best linemen when healthy last year, had to be talked out of transferring. That spoke volumes to me. For some reason the most overshadowed transfer has been Gerquan Scott. He is going to play A LOT on the inside. Gave up exactly zero sacks last season. Haven’t even mentioned Pounds the largest man on the team now. Judkins made a business decision and so did we.

I doubt we will have a "feature" back this year. Bentley will be the starter and both he and Parrish are proven at the SEC level. Amos is talented but we will see how he adjusts. Diggs is very talented and could provide additional depth if he makes it back late in the season though you never know with his injury.

To change gears a bit, and I apologize for this, but I certainly hope our punter is better this year. We can't afford to continually come out on the short end of field position so much like we did last year.

Yeah, definitely going with the moneyball approach at RB.
Maisin was a huge liability but looks like he is still the starter so we’ll have to hope we never punt.

Don’t fool yourself. Yes they have improved but so has Ole Miss. I don’t think the scoreboards would change much if we played them this year.

It’s not just about winning or losing, their o line is much better and they would bruise us even in a loss. Much better to play Wake this year.
