Might be a bit late for that. If these charges stick then he’s getting cut free I would think

Running out of chances for sure
You’d think the dui would’ve been the wake up call

As much as I hate it, I would agree and we all know he’ll end up at Auburn. Dude is 6’7” like 320 lbs. Really could use him in the rotation. Hope it works out but I’m not holding my breath on this one.

If tweet fails to load, click here. This is older but do you realize how just damn hard this is to pull off with a helmet on? Hilton was a dawg and is still killing it. That secondary will probably forever remain one of my favorites with him, Golson, Prewitt and Elston. Hard, hard hitters.
Also Johnson City where you at homie? No need for a gif (of course always welcomed, you came thru big on Die Hard) but just let us know you’re good buddy.

Does anyone have an idea on what our QB depth chart looks like? Really, I mean, who is in the #2 spot? I assume it is Walker Howard. How does he look?

I would think so. I saw some twitter action raving about Simmons.

Probably the same weirdos that wanted Spencer Sanders to start over Dart last year.
I'd love to know how Howard looks in practice though. He was a very highly rated recruit. He was a 4 star and 3rd highest rated for dual threat QBs and 3rd highest rated recruit from Louisiana in the class of 2022.

Just counting down the days 'til next Saturday.

Really depends on the context. We’ve all seen charges like this filed and they either go away or get reduced down. That being said, if it is really bad then it’s time to cut him loose. He has been more hype than substance and may get bumped down the rotation if these freshmen are for real

Harris was really solid last year and the coaches were excited about him this year. It's a tough loss from a depth perspective. He wasn't getting passed by freshmen.

I thought you guys would appreciate this gem of an analysis of our potential season from a State fan.
It's this kind of content that frankly makes the internet worth having.I edited for spelling and grammar (of course).
Look out guys. We don't have a running back. And we only have one WR that defenses can key on and easily shut down.

On OM. Like Mizzou, they lost their best player in Judkins. Actually, I would say Judkins was the best player in the entire portal last year in the entire country.Seems like if OM loses 3 or 4 games then eveyone at the end of the season will be saying "how did we overlook the impact of losing Judkins?" Judkins led them in every game, and OM won 5 one score games in 2023 all due to him.
I know Harris is back at WR but who is their RB in 2024? Amos couldn't play at USC before Miami OH.
Of course, they have a very favorable schedule, but who on this team is going to be help them go 5-0 in one score games again? You know Venables and these other DCs can take away Dart's best WR (Harris) if no RB threat. Again, incredibly favorable schedule though.

I wish Judkins had kept his ego in check and was still here. But anyone who thinks a running back is any team’s most important player has not been watching football for the last 10 years

I’ve been rewatching games from last year and we absolutely would have lost 1-3 of LSU, Arky, and Auburn without Judkins.
Hopefully Lane is right and we can replace him in aggregate, but he was absolutely a game changer (same goes for Dart and Harris).

Likely true, but the whole team has gotten better from a talent standpoint and in Kiffin's entire tenure we've been very good on the ground. Last year was actually our worst.

The most epic play of the LSU game was Bentley taking it 43 yards to the house where he basically ran around the LSU safety and made him look like he was standing still.
I think as a pure runner we don't miss much with what we have on the field now. Judkins really stood out as a pass receiver out of the backfield

Judkins was a workhorse for us against LSU, but it's not like they stopped us from doing anything we wanted all night. Hell, Bentley had 8 carries for 90 yards and a TD. He possibly could've carried the load like Judkins did.
The Arkansas game makes no sense. Judkins was not even our leading rusher. The reason we won that game was our defense shut down their running game.
Auburn I agree with. No one else could move the ball on the ground against a physical Auburn D.

Most of Judkin's plays hit the line for no gain. I truly believe that had Bentley gotten those carries in place of Judkins, we would have had more rushing yards. So, no, I disagree that we would have lost those games without Judkins.

Landmass, we are phasing out megathreads/season long threads. Let's try to have the new threads started for newsworthy items.

It’s not just about stats, it’s about a skill set. Think about how many times over the last decade we have screamed about not being able to pick up a 4th and 1 with the game on the line. Judkins could do that. Bentley is a great home run hitter but he can’t wear down defenses with 20 runs between the tackles
Against LSU: 5 ypc on 33 carries with a TD and 2pt conversion. Bentley only had 2 games with more than 10 carries and had 3.1 ypc and 7.2 ypc in those games. Q had 5 games with at least 20 carries and averaged over 5 ypc against both LSU and Auburn and never worse than 3.4 which is an average of a first down every 3 plays.
Against Arkansas: Judkins scored on a 4th and goal and if you watch the rest of the game the announcers pointed out that at least 2 20 yard pass plays were successful because the defense had to respect Judkins because of what he did against LSU.
I’m not saying Bentley is a bum, just that we are going to need to piece together multiple players to get the same production and value as we got from Judkins.
For the record, we lose all 3 games without Dart and 1-3 of them without Harris. So it is not like Judkins was the only one who mattered but he sure mattered a lot.
