Is Logan Diggs just a lost cause at this point?

Diggs- no he’s not a lost cause. He’s recovery from an ACL injury that happened at the worst possible time (bowl game). I expect him to be back late October. Would be awesome to have him for the LSU game but I think we can win it without him. I think he will be back shortly after that. Reports out of LSU’s camp (I know a few people in that circle) have not been good. If you asked me a month ago if we were winning that game I would say no chance in hell but after what I’ve been hearing I think we leave there with an easy win despite Saturday night DV

Smith- it’s just up to the BS college he took summer classes at. Waiting on them to clear him. Day to day at this point.

Princely- he’s reacting better than expected to the surgery. Basically full speed so far. I expect him to be ready to go before South Carolina which is fine because we can beat Kentucky without him and the games before that are literally preseason games

Thank you Ranting, couple questions:

- How are the LBers looking? Was/is there true concern about Paul?

- How is the OL meshing and who are you hearing are really making a push as starters?

Tre Harris was our leading WR last year. He's back.

Caden Prieskorn started out slow and then by the end of the year he had turned into a freak at TE. He's back.

Ulysses Bentley was our #2 RB last year. With Q gone, Bentley is #1.

Trey Washington led team in tackles and interceptions last year at Safety. He's back

What happened with Dear? Did Alabama raise the price and we weren't
willing to meet it?

It's unfortunate to lose the top 2 players in state to Alabama the year after Saban is gone. I hope they flop with their new coach and he becomes Mike Shula.

Where did this come from?

I dont even get down about guy's committing elsewhere anymore. Especially somewhere like Bama. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see the top players in MS crossing state lines to play football. If they go over there and don't break into the 3 deep right away there's a good chance they open their recruitment right back up. You think our coaches, players and boosters aren't staying in touch and contacting these kids every day they can during recruiting windows ? The players and boosters will continue to do so if and when they enroll in Tuscaloosa. Say they do break into the 2 deep as freshmen. The 4 and 5 star players they jumped on the depth chart will just come to Oxford instead.

All this being said, I would love for Cunningham and Dear to be in Red and Blue. Bama would be taking 2 big time players that I think will break into the 2 deep as true frosh.
