Freeze landed more big fish but he also tended to leave certain positions talent depleted and it hurt us. At least with Kiffin, we are not only becoming more balanced across the board but we are also getting much needed depth. So, even though I was always a huge Freeze fan, I have found myself thinking that Kiffin is a much better HC.

I would take Kiffin’s play calling and game planning but everything else I would take Freeze. Their records are similar for their first 3 years but if you look at the quality of the wins, Freeze wins by a mile. Kiffin has a little Mullen in him when it comes to beating teams that finish in the top 25.
I love Kiffin and want him here but if we have a repeat of last year where he’s flirting with other job openings, he can be shown the door by Carter as far as I’m concerned.

It depends on what you want. A win over Bama but then a loss to Vandy is all Freeze. Under Kiffin, we win the games we are supposed to but don't lose to anyone we should beat.

We absolutely should’ve won the Egg Bowl last year. Kiffin’s pitiful playcalling in the redzone was the difference maker.

We still won 10 games and a Sugar Bowl that year. The loss to Memphis sucked but the pros FAR outweigh the cons with Freeze. Him being fake and calling hookers is a non issue for me because it’s his personal life. He and his wife can work that out. I get him calling off a university phone is an issue but I still stand by he shouldn’t have been fired. Maybe suspend him for the season or something but he did far more good than bad for our program.

Disagree with this. If Hugh didn't get belligerent as hell with the NCAA investigator over the Moncrief situation, they very likely take it much easier on us over the following investigation.
Hugh should have STFU and let compliance and legal handle the situation.

100%. This was the moment the season was essentially pissed away. No way that rag tag State bunch should have come into our building and pulled out a win. We were unprepared and unmotivated. Both a result of Kiffin being checked out. If it happens again, see ya.
