We had to wade through a rivalry game with Auburn, then a war with UGA and Oklahoma to get to them. They cruise through the ACC with a cupcake championship win vs Pitt, then play a ND team that shouldn't have been there.

They won this time but something tells me we see them again, and it might not be so much fun next time. They have a cakewalk to the playoffs again but we know how they roll this time.

Saban knows they will be practicing for the SEC rep for two months, like they did this time. He rebuilt his staff and trust me, if we get there we will be ready.

I wonder what Dabo would say if someone asked would he trade schedules with Bama? LOL

I agree. He wants respect on an Alabama level. They're good, but not quite there yet.

I don’t understand why he’s so bent out of shape about Saban’s comments. There’s no doubt they were the better team in 2018. But that doesn’t mean Alabama didn’t play to their potential either.

He's playing a one or two game schedule. The rest of them he knows he's going to win easily. His season doesn't start til the playoffs.

Would Dabo want to go back to College Station? Play LSU? State in Starkvegas? Aubie at Auburn? He's been there and CS and struggled at both. SECCG vs UGA or maybe UF instead of facing a Pitt? I seriously doubt he wants any part of an SEC West schedule. They damn sure get beat up at the very least.

Bama would massacre his schedule.

Can't believe they signed FIFTEEN 3-stars. Let's see how well he develops that talent.

It will end up motivating us to two straight championships.

They seem to forget that we beat their arse just as bad in a revenge game just the year before

Worse imo

We held them to like 180 yards total and dominated the los.

They had a lot of big plays on 3rd downs this year that killed us but we put up 450 yards on them and ran the ball at will mostly. They were the better team that night but they WERE NOT the better team in general.

Golden State Warriors got blown out by the Lakers but that doesn't mean the Lakers are better. Anything can happen in one game and we just happened to play like shite in the only game that mattered.

It's popular to shite on Bama's scedule but we play a far tougher schedule than Clemson year in and year out.

Their schedule is milquetoast and yet Dabo and the Tigers will probably still find a way to shite the bed in 1 game. He usually does.

I don’t have a problem with his comments. Dabo is just trying to promote his team, as he should. Clemson was clearly the better team when they played Bama.

From the level of preparedness in that game, I'm sure one of two things happened. Either Clemson used part of every practice the whole season working on Alabama, or they were reading our signals in real time. It's probably #1, with their easy path

We just kind of hit the point where no one decent OOC wants to play us at a neutral site anymore, but the home and homes we scheduled to counteract that haven't gotten here yet. That leaves us playing some trash ACC team like Louisville or Duke as our P-5 OOC game.

Clemson though is what FSU was during the height of Bowden's tenure when they completely dominated an otherwise inept ACC and were only challenged by Miami and Florida. No one in the ACC is capable of beating Clemson without Clemson playing their worst game of the year while the hypothetical ACC opponent in question plays their best game of the year. That's how far apart they are from everyone else in that conference in terms of recruiting, facilities, development, fan involvement, etc. It'd be like if you put us in the fricking Pac 12. We'd wax everyone even if we played like shite.

To the victor goes the spoils - It's as simple as that.

He gets to talk shite, and theres not much we can do about it.

If Bama and Clemson played ten games in a row in consecutive weeks I've got Bama winning 7-3.

Everything Clemson needed to defeat Bama in the title game they got. They needed to draw ND so they could focus on Bama, and miraculously somehow the playoff committee saw fit to keep ND at 3 while they sat at home and watched everyone else play.

Dabo knows Bama would wreck his shite if they played ten consecutive games in consecutive weeks.

That dumbass schedule of theirs is no better than UCF's.

While agree that the ACC has been shite for a few years now and that Clemson's had an easier go of it schedule-wise as compared to an SEC West team, but they've gone 55-4 in the last 4 years, have the same number of Nattys as us, and have beaten us directly for those championships 2 out of our last 4 meetings. Additionally, I have read no Clemson words that slighted Bama - only words that wanted respect for Clemson.

I think a Bama fan getting Snarky about Clemson "knowing their place" or the like is petty and misguided. Clemson has earned the right to say anything they want, and they've proven to be Frazier to Bama's Ali for a number of years now...and I thank them for it. They have my respect and my appreciation for making CFB interesting again.

Let's just go beat their arse next time.

They beat the frick out of us and have won 2 of the last 3 NCs. The guy has every right to talk shite.

And stop it with the fricking excuses. It makes us sound like LSU fans. Take the L and learn from it.

Or they were better coached, prepared, had a better quarterback, etc.

The loss stung, but I honestly think it will benefit future seasons much more than a win would have. I sure hope that I'm not just pumping sunshine

Absolutely. When you get your arse beat as resoundingly as we did, there's no talking to be done. The time for talking was that 60 minute period of game time and we were awfully quiet. Let's tip our cap to them and hope we get another chance at making good.

Nah

Amazing the amount of Clemson fan boys that claim to root for the Tide.
