I'm fine with Milroe protecting himself here. The season is over of Milroe goes down.

I don't blame him for not trying to go Bobby Boucher into the runner to try and knock him out at the 1 yard line. He is a QB, no a LBer.

Sure, a bit of a poor effort, but I'm not going to get too angry about our QB not going all out to make a tackle
quote:
So Jalen may have gotten to him at the pylon, but the very best you could have hoped for is for him to hit the guy at about the 3 yard line. Best case.

I don’t like Jordan Rodgers. You can tell that he doesn’t care too much for Alabama. Always picks against us in big games. Not a fan of his. Looks like a douche on top of that.

Milroe had no business going after a db. No our season may not be done but it would absolutely take a massive hit losing him. Can’t have the QB getting hurt chasing down a DB.

If he ran full speed and gets injured our season is basically over.
And here we are. Our season is over.
re: Milroe since the UGA game vs P4.. 3TD 9INT

You can't run an offense that requires decision making on the fly if you're QB can do that.
Asking our QB to think is a bridge too far. THIS is Alabama football.

Yeah Milroe shouldn't have thrown it

Alabama has had some very bizarre officiating actions in their games the last few years, legalized sports betting exists in more states than ever, and Alabama is a program that likely invites a lot of betting action. Furthermore, collegiate officials are hobbyist not professionals.
I’m not saying that I know Alabama is facing point shaving on the part of the officiating. However, the confluence of circumstances and the peculiarity of bad holding calls on clean pancake blocks, DPI flags that depended on the result of the play, and that call in the Oklahoma game last Saturday got to make you ask the question.
This is the most bizarre conspiracy of them all.

It's very simple to me. Saban always said the players knows who should be QB. I take that to mean they know who their guy is and they are going to ride with it, factions come into play if all else is equal. That is what happened last year. The other two got a shot, regardless of the circumstances, so he didn't look back.
This year DeBoer is loyal to a fault. Remember his comments after the Malachi incident. He will not sit Milroe.

What film session? Sounds like they aren't shown things that could question someone's effort. Luckily, they stay off social media so they probably haven't seen the play in question.

People telling others what they're allowed to talk about and calling everyone a troll is annoying.
re: In this post Saban era, when does this board usually start holding a coach responsible?
Posted by RJYH on 11/25/24 at 9:20 am
No offense, but this is what i don't like. To say he should just fire everyone takes all the responsibility from him. Same as it was for Saban and defense for me, if the offense isn't doing what it should, it is all on DeBoer. Defense is too, to a lesser degree.
With all that said, if you take Milroe out of the equation I think you have a different offense.

Been thinking about that. If it's true that the offense is barely installed due to Milroe, is it possible that the rest of the team would have a hard time running a non-Milroe offense with a different QB?

Video matrix and projector video wall
Posted by RJYH on 4/8/20 at 9:27 pm
Doing a basement remodel and I'd like to install a projector for sports and movies. For sports, I'd like to project 2x2 video or any combination of 4 inputs at time. This is possible with a video matrix when using TVs in a video wall formation, but I can't seem to find something that will simulate that through a projector. Is that possible?
