. Really? He was good in coverage and an excellent return man but very weak in run support IMO.

I would thought Emmitt Smith.

In college? No. Kevin Faulk, Marshall Faulk, Ed Reed, Terry Bradshaw, hell Troy Edwards.

Wistrom was from my hometown of Joplin. Played at Webb city HS. Webb is a powerhouse for its size

I know Peyton is the best but I felt this guy deserves some credit for being a badass.

I may be tempted to go DeAngelo Williams here considering both players college and pro career.

Jerry Rice is the obvious answer. You could also chime in with Walter Payton or Brett Farve

This is laughable. Cam Newton is the best CFB to ever step on a field

He took a 7-5 AU team and went undefeated

Anyone who would select Deion Sanders as the greatest player from Florida must not be aware that Derrick Thomas was born in Miami.

Thinking about it...wonder if Doug Atkins should be there instead of Reggie.

Tommy Frazier had a great college career as well.

Von Miller is well on his way to becoming the greatest player ever from Texas.

I certainly wouldn't rank Baugh over Mike Singletary either.

Shite list dominated by QB's, RB's, and WR's. LB's can be great players also.
