I didn't finish Season 3. Once Lizzo entered the fray, I was out. Heard it got worse, just handing over the dark saber to Bo Katan. I've thought about going back and finishing it, but just don't care anymore.

What I’m wondering is the breakdown of where all the legislators come from… I suspect it heavily favors select schools

I was told this is a Northshore push for sending their kids to the Catholic League.
If it just means those schools get to come get a complete insider look at Karr and set up their own programs to run the same way, bravo. If it gives him access to their programs/players it's a conflict of interest.

Friend of mine from Haughton said WM pitching is looking really deep. Who is the number 2 guy? they were really impressed and these are some good baseball dudes.

Honestly I'm not 100% sure. I BELIEVE it is Guillot, but it might be Long or Mardis. Cupit is the unquestioned Ace. I know it took Haughton 10 innings to get a base runner in the scrimmage last week. So the pitching and defense must not be too bad.

Catholic has dominated West Monroe over the past few years ( have beat WM 6 in a row).

I don't know if dominated does it justice. Outside of that first game against Schmidt-oddly the tightest game of the 6-Catholic has just been head and shoulders better.
West Monroe travels to Airline and Johnny Wholestaffs it to a 8-4 win. Travel to Catholic for a 3 game series starting Thursday.

They did Walker right.

No they screwed Myers. He was their best player by a wide margin tonight.

She was pregnant and it was garbage.
Did it look like the top was emptying out?

I’m not sure how you can watch this and not think the fix is in. It’s pretty blatant. No thanks, turning it off.

Ding ding ding

Everything at Tech is about baseball. EVERYTHING. Moving to the Sun Belt right after Coastal made the NC isn't a coincidence. Tech thinks they can achieve that level of success after hosting a regional several years back. It dictates every other move they make in the athletic department.

Where's everybody gonna be this week/wknd?

Men's conference at my church listening to Darryl Strawberry.

West Monroe and Ruston both play actual games Monday. WM plays Airline, not sure about Ruston. Anyway, due to this I'm not sure who either will play Saturday in their jamboree against one another. Some sort of scrimmage tonight at Tech with these two facing off as well.

Could / Should Lane invest in ULL, McNeese, Nichols, LATech, Southeastern, and Tulane relationships to use them like farm teams?

Define "Invest". Like LSU host camps and allow all instate teams to attend to create "Super Camps"? Absolutely. More kids will come that will never get an offer from LSU. Big Ty George actually earned his Tulane offer at LSU camp. He ended up the #10 IOL in the nation this year and is definitely someone that could end up at LSU.

it’s close for freshman between them and barbe

I thought Twin City Bombers ran that age group pretty much their entire career until they got bored and didn’t care anymore? They did split though in HS with 2 at Neville, 1 at Ruston middle, 1 at St Fred’s, 1 at Calvary, and pretty much the rest at WM.

The only time Barbe seemed different to me was the Hawsey/Federico/Pearson senior season. That’s the only time it looked like they knew before the game they weren’t winning and once Starr made the catch at 3rd or Pearson hit the bomb they seemed defeated. Every other game I’ve seen them they’re still killers. They still have to be the favorite going into the season. No one thinks they’ve fallen off imo.

West Monroe,

Braydn Cupit, an LSU commit at pitcher, can bring the heat at 90 mph plus.

Ran into a buzz saw last year with eventual state champ Sam Houston in the playoffs.

Several returners from last season, Peyton Starr, Brady Guillot, Davis Long, Sheppard Brown, Ryder Dejean

JJ27 will have a better idea but WM looks to be a strong contender again this year.

I'm not sure on the lineup, but Cupit is pretty tough to hit. Sits 93, touches 95 from the left side with a wipeout slider. Series vs 1 game will make WM rely on some others on the bump. I know they have guys that win, I just don't know about their dominance. I've heard Guillot has looked good so far and you have Carr/Long returning that ate up a lot of innings last year.
