That was a direct ripoff of his dish that she said was the best thing she ever ate.

And they gave her all the credit. Acted like she got them the 2 stars when it was Carmie the entire time. He brought them all from minimum wage nobodies to studs. Terrible ending.

didn't hurt that he turned 20 a few weeks after graduating west monroe

Which would've made him ineligible his entire senior year...Where do y'all come up with this stuff? His birthday is literally 5/4/1978. Which means he was 18 his entire senior year.

Oh and btw, he held back at OCS.

6'7" and didn't know how much he weighed. Just knew it was more than the 350 that maxed out the scale.

Things don’t work out all the time.

If what I was told was true, this was 100% on Lou Tepper. Just completely mismanaged everything about that situation.

Jonesboro is an underrated course that no one ever talks about. Darbonne as well, though 9 holes.

High school games should always be played on Fridays

Unfortunately, this isn't a reality anymore due to lack of officials. In our area each team is asked to play at least one Thursday night game a year due to not having enough refs to go around.

Black Bear was rated #1 in Louisiana multiple years before they decided it cost too much to maintain the bunkers. It's by far the best option without knowing a member.

I'll also say go to Back 9. It's so freaking muggy that playing inside doesn't sound like a bad way to spend a few hours.
Worked at Sun Belt Plastics the summer after HS. Worked with a guy that murdered his wife and her lover. Drove to the bar, walked in with a shotgun, killed them both. He was probably mid 60s at the point I worked with him. He did it in his 20s. Served 10 years I believe. He was generally a nice guy, but he could flip a switch and old prison tendencies would come out if he felt disrespected.

I'm not going to read spoilers or anything, but does anyone else watch these trailers and ask, "What the hell is this movie about?"

Trailer looks like a chick flick and nothing to do with actual Spiderman. More about Peter's loneliness and missing his girlfriend.

What are your thoughts on this situation?

I question the validity of the source. She has flat out lied in other stories, mainly about a good friend's wife. She trusts the source as 100% true because she wants likes and views. Labels herself a "community watch dog". If what she is reporting is true, it's a massive misuse of force and the kid should NEVER have been taken into custody.

Tech was 68th in total defense in 25 but they were 12th in 24.

So you’re right that Tech’s d was good but it wasn’t good in 25.

Conference defensive player of the year, former LSU player, was lost for the season during the 5th game. Defense fell off a cliff once he was out. He played against LSU. He had 39 tackles in 4 games basically as he was hurt early game 5. He's back this year, so hopefully the defense returns to what it was previously with him.

What better way to show off the new offense than a direct comparison from last year? Plus the money stays instate instead of going to a similar school elsewhere in the Sun Belt. LSU scored a touchdown with 12 seconds left in the first quarter, a field goal in the second, a touchdown with 1:58 left in the third, and field goals at 11:14 and 1:55 in the fourth. Tech's defense has been top tier for several seasons now.

So when it's 42-0 at the half this year, pretty good barometer on the differences with Lane.
Don’t sleep on ASH. This is their best team ever as well.
Ruston has their best team since 1990. They return virtually everyone and added a 4 star LB from Mississippi. They are ridiculously loaded and more importantly...Kyle Williams is back. True juggernaut of a team this season.
Watched it last night. Honestly, I enjoyed it. I only rolled my eyes once, which I thought was pretty good. Maybe twice... Damon saying Page was the bravest soldier he ever knew. Cmon man...Other than that, of course the queen would be pissy about leading for 20 years and it being called an empty throne. That being said, she obviously did a horrific job leading. I actually could see the uniqueness of Helen in that environment and understand the uniqueness. Kinda made sense to me for some reason.

I didn't go to pick apart historical accuracies. Just went to escape the world and it did that for me just fine.
Hilarious considering his contract is 100% a factor in these layoffs.
Return their 3 year starter at QB, Parker Robinson. Loads of skill talent, brought in an excellent freshmen class last year. Switch from Glen Hunt at OC to Ensminger Jr. Expect a more LSU 2019 type offense in style. Not sure about the defense, I'm sure Collins will have them ready though. They dropped down, but they kept the district rivals on the schedule. I know they're playing Ouachita, Ruston, and WM at least.
quote:

Dunham at No. 31 may be even more difficult to understand. The Tigers are the defending Div. III Select state champions and return Elijah Haven, a top 3 quarterback in the entire country. With Haven leading Dunham’s wide-open offensive system, they are capable of scoring with almost anyone in the state.

I am not saying that either U-High or Dunham belongs in the top five. The larger schools generally have more depth, especially along the lines, and that matters over a full season. But both schools being outside the top 25 - and behind that many teams with far less recent postseason success - just seems odd.

Dunham started an 8th grader on defense last year. Imagine an 8th grader trying to cover Easton Royal.

X and O football genius ahead of Saban at this stage of his career.

When did Kiffin win an sec title?

Kiffin is an offensive genius. We all know the caliber of coach that Coach Saban is. Kiffin's offense is so good that Coach Saban hired him, had him install it, and kept it the rest of his tenure at Bama. The offense didn't change even when OCs did. "Why would we force everyone in the building to have to learn a new system when we all know our system and 1 guy can learn it." Kiffin's offense is so good it changed Saban's philosophy on how to play the game.

It will produce at LSU.
