We switched from Russell to Evo Shield this year for coaching. Gotta say...massive difference. At first the kids joked and asked if we had on women's shorts because of the length and side. They're definitely much shorter than the old coaching shorts. ETA a pic of said shorts

Interesting, because it seemed as though Carmie would be out and it would be the Sydney show. She's just not a good character/someone I want to watch. I'll give it a shot, hope it lives up to the hype. I LOVED the first two seasons other than zero accountability Syd making a massive mistake, tucking tail and leaving, then acting like the victim.

One that no one will mention or even know happened really is Terrence Tarver for West Monroe in 1997. Dislocated his shoulder on the last play of the first half. Popped it back in, tied it down/to his side, played the second half, came back and won the game 22-19.

now I’m thinking she had a stroke.
Definitely a stroke and actually a really good portrayal when she's on the ground.

is this potentially the best athlete to come out of WM, JJ
Depends on what you consider for best athlete. Brian West threw 98mph and was called the best HS DE ever by Dandy Don. I will say we've had 4 kids in the last 30 years run in the 4.3s to my knowledge. NONE of them did it before they stepped foot on campus. This kid could literally break the NFL combine record...while in HS...Just an all time level athlete.
His brother just graduated from LSU as well.
Tried. The worst injury ever flopping every 20 seconds only to miraculously be fine 3 seconds after getting up makes it very difficult to watch.

Last update was around 1 today.

When I left workouts that day it was 106 on my car thermometer. If they were on the turf or stadium it can get exponentially hotter.

High in Ruston yesterday was 86 and it was overcast most of the day. Something doesn't add up.
It happened Monday. It was brutally hot that day.

They ran shorter practices and they had one game per week. It lasted 4-5 weeks and started right when we got back from Christmas break. Not sure about the rules, I attended games but I do basketball and golf so I wasn’t on staff.
Pretty sure that's not legal in Louisiana. You can pretty much "practice" with a helmet on during PE classes, but not after school and definitely not in pads outside of the allotted time.
Ruston has an “indoor”. It’s a covered practice field, not really an indoor, but definitely cooler than straight sun.

Lazy, typical message board take.
A more serious reason is his control was being taken away. You can't rule with fear and discipline if the kid can transfer every year without penalty. You can't coach the way he did with millionaire punk kids that have no regard for authority. THAT is the writing that was on the wall. THAT is why he retired.

Why there is giant breaks in between the game weeks is baffling.
Finals and holidays...Not the craziest reasons considering they're trying to keep the illusion of being about higher learning.

Further proves how shitty of a product college baseball is overall.
That's like saying March Madness sucks because two 1 seeds, one 2 seed, and two 3 seeds were knocked out before the Sweet 16.

Kevin Smith's Netflix series had to be a major reason that excitement was extinguished. I'm 45 and He-Man was a staple when I was 4-5. He-Man, GI Joe, Transformers, MASK, and Thundercats were go to's for all of us at that time. Smith killing off He-Man and making his series about Teela/Girl Power killed any excitement about anything He-Man for me. Throw in the first trailer with the He/Him and making him a little bitch...Nah I'll wait to watch it at home for free.

Ole Miss can’t leave it close, Blue is letting the crowd dictate his calls
That’s why I don’t like bunting a lefty. He can hit behind the runners just as easily.
