Where is young Pearson projected to play? Can he run enough to play outfield?
He’s #2 in the pic. I could see it going either way. They could bulk him up for the corners, or slim him up for the outfiel...
Which Pearson? Does the younger brother play outfield also?
Yes, but he’s bigger and not as fast as his brothers. ...

I’ve heard they’re the best we’ve seen since Schmidt in game 1. Should be an outstanding series. WM will counter with an LSU commit and I’m not sure if you’ll get the ULM commit or the uncommitted junior. The pitching matchups will be pretty even. It’s the first 4 in the lineup that are committed to...
Amazing how many times the team that wins game two but loses one advances
I just assume the team that ultimately loses had 1 DUDE. Once he’s done, so are they. ...
Neville takes out Hahnville. well played Neville!
Neville is sneaky. Shouldn’t even be in the playoffs by power rankings, but got in due to winning a horrific 4A district. They would’ve easily made it though if not for the Monroe City School Board shenanigans with their head coach ...
re: How long is Paul Skenes arm going to hold up?
Posted by JJ27 on 4/19/24 at 10:45 am
Based on the fact that pitchers throw every pitch at max effort, w/as much velo as possible, which puts undue strain on the elbow/arm.
Have you watched Skenes? I know you’re not an LSU fan, so genuinely asking. Because he throws effortlessly. He doesn’t throw max effort at all. ...
But on top of that, this doesn't feel realistic at all. Players leaving for a year to start only to come back and retain their spot on the depth chart and move into a starter role? C'mon dude.
Didn't Raph Rhymes do this in baseball?...
Then why does WM continue to not vote for reunification in both football and baseball?
New principal and new HC. I wouldn’t be surprised if that vote changes. Just a whole new regime really. ...

All the schools listed but 2-3 are already select. Of course they want it back together. WM came to Catholic for a 3 game series to start the year. There is no fear there. The HC and pitching coach are former college HCs. ...

Do they have 2 dudes on the mound? They’ll have to beat WM and Barbe in 2 days to win. They’re capable of it, but if they hold their ace for Barbe, WM might cut them. If they use him on WM, same might happen against Barbe. Barbe will likely be able to save their guy for the finals. ...
An argument could be made that Nonselect D1 should be 32 teams. There are years where the team that is 29-30 is still pretty solid.

Ehhh I'd go with 28. The top 4 deserve a bye. Top 8 getting a bye is too much imo. It's still a 32 team bracket, just 8 byes so 24 make it. It would...

If you're going to have Divisions there is ZERO REASON to have classes. PERIOD. Consolidate the 5 classes to 4 since you have 4 Divisions. This really isn't that difficult. ...
