Reuben Foster should have been Alabama AND Georgia.

He might have made the list if he could spell either Alabama or Georgia.

I would imagine that was a legitimate toss up between Baugh and Vince Young

You're going to have to try harder. Rueben Foster would've been a better one to use for a proper troll

Yeah. A lot better.

"The 1983 team captain drew little publicity until the sixth game of his senior year. By then, his domination was evident. He collected 100 tackles on the season, 72 of them unassisted, and set the school-record with 15 sacks for the year. He had a sack in every game but two and dropped the quarterback four times against The Citadel, another school record."

You know what's really interesting about Reggie White's senior stats?

He played most of the year as a left Defensive End in a 3-4 defense (though I think they had some four man pass rushing packages).

No quibble with him being the best from Tennessee. But Peyton Manning wasn't the best ever qb from Louisiana in college (or the pros), let alone best ever. There have been a ton of great college players from Louisiana.

Not buying Grant Wistrom from Missouri either. Nor A.J. Green from South Carolina.

It's like whoever made this list just confined himself to people he had heard of from the state in question, and didn't do any research.

Sammy Baugh is spot on from Texas though. Let alone as a qb, I think he still holds pro punting records.

Roger Wehrli is the best football player to come from Missouri not Grant.

CFHoF
NFL HoF

When they first used the term "shut down corner" it was Staubach talking about Wehrli.
