Figure out a way for her to stay home with the kid{s} you will not regret it.
She can pickup 4 or 5 houses to clean per week and make 300 to 400 cash per week maybe more and be able to take the baby with her. Most of the older folks especially widows just want a little company and someone to talk to.
My kids are grown now but that’s what my wife did, at one time she was cleaning 12 houses over a two week period. She made our spending money, vacation money and set some back. Plus the work was flexible enough she was always able to rearrange and go to all of the school events, doctors appointments etc…
