Even with the shite first half and the soft zone defense with zero pressure, that third down direct snap in a tight formation lost this game. Spread the field and throw a fricking slant or run a pick play. Or even run the direct snap with the field spread that way you're not completely tipping off the play beforehand.
Of course their defense came up with two huge stops(the third down play and at the end of the game) and pressured LSU routinely while LSU's defense shite the bed for 3 quarters of the game.

Batted in the air. Thats why he jumps on every throw and doesnt set his feet.
But he set them on this throw and gets it batted. If he makes a throw like that on the last play we score easily.

Leavitt just isnt great. A lot of that first half shite show was just him playing nervous and not settling in the pocket or setting his feet on throws.
It took going down 17 for him to settle into the game.
Baker and his defense was even worse in the first half. Whit was talking shite and fighting at the coin toss only to never be seen during the game. The soft zone defense with zero pressure is a joke.
If you score on that third down, you have the ball, down 4 points with the ball and a chance to go win the game. Instead you settled for a tie after a shite call playing a direct snap to your running back in a heavy formation when your OL has had trouble winning the battle all night.
Theyre "thinking" themselves out of a win. Both Baker and Weiss.

You need the defense to step up and you give up that disaster of a drive. Chunk yardage left and right with zero pressure and an 8 yard cushion on the receivers.

Safety gets there late and is zero help, and Pickett is watching Chambliss and spins around to find the receiver once he realizes the ball is being thrown his way. By the time he spins and finds the receiver, the receiver is mid air catching the ball over him.
