If Smith is diminished in anyway, Kitchen and Jones are going to have to come up big. States tackles aren't great and they are going to have to get to Taylor early to have a chance.

This squad has to start tackling better in the first half. They have 33 missed tackles so far and Rodriguez leads the team with 5. This defense spills to him. That will cost them in SEC play if he doesnt turn it around.
Goodie has a career 52% catch rate for a reason. Peeler is going to have to put someone dependable out there. If that means moving Terry outside for the season, so be it. They haven't had a reliable field WR since Mookie Cooper. That has to change.

Simmons was off all night. He missed a bunch of out routes and tried to jam throws into Lee when underneath stuff was open.
The starting Free Safety got caught looking in the backfield twice and was out of position leading to the two long TD throws.
Troy wanted that game more. Thankfully the defensive front 7 played well enough to shut them out in the second half.
