I get the sentiment but I’ve had 2 good meals at black sheep.
Harvest on main and Chester Brunnenmeyers would be good options. Chester’s has a bit of a pub feel
As far as Dahlonega my favorite is Shenanigans. They usually have a good tap list. The basement is fun/lively with dollar bills everywhere. Upstairs is more like a normal quieter restaurant

A little off-subject but my son’s team has been playing Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS) all week (just lost in extras). Cole Prosek is #25 on that list and that kid absolutely can mash. Left handed hitter. Great arm. Touches 91 on the mound but primarily a catcher
The food at the McLemore resort is worth checking out. Beautiful views too

Is mosca’s worth checking out? We are coming down this weekend and trying to sort out dinner Friday and Saturday nights. Looking for something unique

Not my recipe but one I found
Shrimp with Tasso Gravy
Ingredients
Protein
1 lb medium or large shrimp, peeled/deveined
4 oz tasso ham, diced
6 oz andouille or Conecuh sausage, diced or thin-sliced
Vegetables
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely diced
½ bell pepper, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, sliced
Gravy Base
2 tbsp flour
1½ cups chicken stock or seafood stock
½ cup heavy cream (optional but restaurant-style)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp hot sauce (or to taste)
½ tsp Cajun seasoning
¼ tsp smoked paprika
Black pepper to taste
Salt only if needed (tasso/sausage are salty)
Finish
1 tbsp parsley
Lemon squeeze (optional)
Instructions
1. Brown the meats
In a skillet over medium heat:
Cook sausage until lightly browned and some fat renders out.
Add diced tasso for 1–2 minutes.
Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in pan.
2. Build the base
Add butter if needed.
Cook:
onion
bell pepper
celery
for 5–7 minutes until soft. Add garlic for 30 seconds.
3. Make the gravy
Sprinkle flour over vegetables. Stir 1–2 minutes.
Slowly whisk in stock until smooth. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
Add:
cream
Worcestershire
hot sauce
Cajun seasoning
paprika
pepper
Return sausage + tasso to pan.
Simmer until thickened.
4. Add shrimp last
Add shrimp and cook 3–4 minutes until pink and just done.
Stir in green onions + parsley.
Taste and adjust seasoning.

Cruise ships with more than a total of1000 passengers and crew are no longer allowed to stop at Bar Harbor.
That’s a good start
I was there in 2018
Bar harbor is filled with souvenir shops. When the cruise ships arrive the town quickly gets overwhelmed with tourists. It wasn’t my favorite to be honest. Boothbay Harbor was a great spot to visit as was Kennebunkport. I could honestly spend a week in Portland eating and drinking

My favorite part of tho clip is all of the Tennessee fans with shite-eating grins on their faces as he got tossed, knowing that they eventually lost by 10. Even their pitcher was smiling

Not in this order but guys that need to be in the lineup
Yamin
Serna
Cade
Brown
Milam
Stanfield
Curiel
Dardar
Then you could go Braun or Pearson depending on LHP or RHP

He is dumb for coming back with the weak draft class
No he’s not
He’ll make $6M next year at OM. His current slot is about $6M for a 4 year contract. I don’t see a long NFL career (but I could be wrong) so he needs to strike while the iron is hot and maximize his opportunities
