Don’t really care to be honest.

Pretty much. It was rivalry in name only.

I never think about it.
Didn't really think about it when it was a thing.

Like a breath of fresh air. Really don’t like those people or their fan base. The jealousy in that tribe is ripe. They have a large iron1945 national championship proclamation in one end zone. The same year that they lost 2 games and I believe army went undefeated. They bid on that unclaimed NC trophy from the AFCA about 10-15 yrs ago and have no shame in displaying it. If you can’t build it, buy it.

The sheep humpers cared more about it than we did. That game was always the highlight of their year. I've known many a poke fan that was happier when we lost than when they won in a weekend.

Yup. It was the Super Bowl to them and was just another game to us. The only reason it mattered to us was the trash talking we would get on the rare occasions they won.
It was never near Texas and Nebraska.
Nebraska was the true end of year or close to end of year rivalry. Hated losing that one but it was lost when the Big 12 was formed.

It’s the equivalent of Alabama v Mississippi State, fricking dog walking

Bedlam originated with wrestling, a sport in which both schools are blue bloods, but OSU is historically the best program in the country by far....dozens of NCs, I think.
I don't follow wrestling, but I believe OU (with Mizzou) still wrestles in the BIG 12, so Bedlam lives on as it was meant to be. Good for them.
As for football, Mike Gundy and T Boone made something of their program in the 2000s, and there were plenty of exciting games in the series after that. Oklahoma still won the vast majority, but several came down to wire.
But historically, it just wasn't that important for OU. OSU hated our guts, and we were aware of their existence. That's not to sound superior, but the programs were on very different levels.
Bedlam in any sport besides wrestling was manufactured for TV ratings--and I'm sure to try to build excitement within the fan bases. It always felt artificial to me.
And as mentioned above, when they began scheduling it at the end of the season to replace Nebraska, it felt gross. OU-NU mattered on the national stage for decades. Thanksgiving in Stillwater is not Thanksgiving in Lincoln by a far stretch.
I still hold out hope that Nebraska can get back to where they want to be, and we can bring back the non-conference rivalry every year. Conversely, I don't care if OU plays OSU twice a decade or never again.

I personally miss it. It was a great part of our regional and local traditions. Sure in football it wasn't so competitive in wins/losses - and that's the big 'eye test' sport I suppose. But it was actually composed of far more than that, spanning all of the sports we had in common, where it was considerably more competitive. And some of those links are still there. It was a natural fit and a lot of fun.
I'm not foolish enough to claim that without OU, OSU would stand as a regional power on its own. Admittedly, I did think that was a possibility, and there may still be some potential on that front if they can get a coach who fits better into this era of college sports. However our histories were to some extent intertwined. There were moments where we pushed each other to greater success, either directly or indirectly. I wish we had kept the game. I wish we could get a permanent series again established. It's not going to ever happen, so that's it.

My extended family would do a big house divided watch party every year. So I do miss that.

OU has fully swallowed the SEC c0ck and gargling the balls too

I would like to see it played if there is room on the schedule
OU tried to continue as a non-conf game but osu openly resfused to play
now going to 9 SEC games there is really not room for it
Would really like to replace it with Arkansas as annual final opponent

Indifferent. Aside from maybe a few years 2012ish era if they won it was an upset. Nothing to gain really from OU's perspective.
They were turds when OU jumped to the SEC, so not playing them and watching them die on the vince in the crap Big12 has been more fun.

If I were OU I’d want it on the schedule like UGA has Tech because it’s a non-conference P4 game against a team that’s non competitive for the near term future.
It’s not like UF having to deal with FSU/Miami or USCe playing Clemson where it’s a near SEC caliber roster most years.
With the 9 game SEC schedule I’d play that as the OOC game and focus on conference and CFP contention and call it a day.

I don’t live in Oklahoma anymore.
So I haven’t cared about it for years. That program died with Boone Pickens.
It’s pretty clear they needed that game way more than we did.

Don’t listen to these OU fans, literally everyone from Oklahoma has a sibling/cousin/uncle who’s an OSU fan. Bedlam has been around our entire lives.
Yes Bedlam is lopsided towards OU and doesn’t compare to say the RRS, but it was good for the state.
I personally miss it and would like to see it brought back as a permanent out of conference game.
I hate seeing the state and direction Oklahoma State is currently in because again, I support the state as a whole. A healthy Bedlam and competitive OSU is good for the state.

I feel like this was the SEC's biggest mistake in the annual rivals....
Ole Miss? WTF
I also think Arkansas should have kept A&M over LSU so I feel like as always Arkansas drew shortest straw.
LSU should have gotten the two MS schools and aggy.

A completely lopsided series. 91 - 20 - 7.
We preplaced it with another completely lopsided series vs Midzou.
68 - 28 - 5
