Every couple years there’s a coach like this.
Florida needs a good coach with experience now and there aren’t a lot of other guys out there right now that would jump ship. They should have fired Napier last year and went after Cignetti.

atmosphere in the SEC and that matters in recruiting, especially when other schools have more money than you do already
Since you guys apparently can’t read…
Value of the top College Football Programs:
Texas Longhorns: $2.38 billion
Georgia Bulldogs: $1.92 billion
Ohio State Buckeyes: $1.9 billion
Notre Dame Fighting Irish: $1.85 billion
Michigan Wolverines: $1.83 billion
Alabama Crimson Tide: $1.74 billion
Oklahoma Sooners: $1.49 billion
USC Trojans: $1.4 billion
Tennessee Volunteers: $1.37 billion

You're absolutely right.
What in the frick makes you think Mizzou is safe here? OU is going the way of Nebraska because money talks? But Missouri is some kind of bastion of wealth and culture, lolol. They made an entire TV series about the Ozarks dude, no one’s itching to get into Missouri.

OU is at risk.
I know this is going to be surprising to you, but no one was ever banned from donating to a football program. Oklahoma state had one of the richest guys on the planet writing checks for decades, and you know it worked for a little while. But they were never better than upper middle class. And like I said the OU football program is worth more than every other school not Georgia and Texas.
You can’t have it both ways, OU being at risk but teams like Alabama are fine? you do know that right? Logically, you can’t.
If OU is at risk, then so is every school not in Florida or Texas, basically the entire SEC.
Or are recruits going to refuse money to play in a bunch of rich northern and west coast states to play in poor southern states because….SEC?? lol… do you see how that works? Really basic logic bud. If money’s the deciding factor here the SEC is essentially dead except maybe 2-3 schools.

Who has more money. Texas or OU?
Texas has ALWAYS had more money than OU. Top recruiting classes, resources, etc. it’s somehow never really mattered. Oklahoma as a football program ranked 7th in estimated value, not far behind Alabama. A bunch of schools that are statistically poorer than OU, talking about money need to relax. OU isn’t going anywhere.

Mizzou fans start dozens of threads about OU in the previous month. A weird OU fan started one thread and they lose their fricking minds hahahaha.

This isn't 2009. Things have changed.
Have they? OU and Texas have the same record, and we didn’t need double OT to get there.
Oklahoma has a world champion basketball team that’s always been well supported. People act like there isn’t money in Oklahoma and economic powerhouses like Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri or Louisiana will somehow magically keep up while OU spirals into mediocrity.
If your theory is true it’s literally the death knell of the entire SEC. The northern states are wealthier than every other SEC state other than Florida and Texas. And those two states split their cash between multiple schools. The advantage isn’t that intense.

Simmer down bitchboy. It's a message board.

This whole thread is creepy af.

I took advantage of the army education money. I was a nurse for 6 years, and did well investing with travel nurse money from Covid. So now I day trade and have a coaching business. I don’t actually use any of the degrees.

I agree. Kiffin would kill it at UF. He’s probably still connected with all the high schools from when he was at FAU. I don’t think it’s happening though. Bucket is pretty dry, I wonder if they gave Bob Stoops a call for giggles.

Uh, a college grad communicating with other college grads ?? Sorry it went over your head.
I’ve got 4 college degrees, minors in history/Japanese and 9 years military service. Working on a PhD in theology.
Not once have I ever felt the need to inflate my self worth by going to an opposing conference’s message board and dropping nerdy shite thinking someone would care.

Texas has its first back to back win over OU since 2009. This can’t be a serious thought.

It’s hard to get sherbert orange to go with anything. The grey UT uniforms somehow worked better.

Really, the comment is more about OUs weakness. They are dangerously close to going the way of Nebraska.
Uhhhh…. Why do people keep saying this. lol.
OU has one of the best defenses in the country, a solid 2026 class coming in and currently the top early 2027 class. With exposure in prime recruiting territory and the 5th most watched team in the country. There isn’t a single metric that points to OU falling off a cliff like Nebraska did.

The question really is, how compliant are SEC schools in the visitor locker rooms for motor chairs.

The NIL thing is catching up to him. Venebles was the same way when getting to OU and shifted hard when he realized he HAD to use it.
Dabo brought a middle class program to national champion stature. It’s weird to me that he’s getting blasted when like 3 programs have taken a chance on Kiffin hoping he figures it out.
