Our defense will keep us in games. Mateer will randomly hit Satenga for a big TD at some point and that might be enough to win a game 13-10. Ill get downvoted, but I'll say 8-4.

But we lack the most important aspect on the offensive side of the ball. Decent qb play. Do you think Mateer could start anywhere else in the conference besides maybe Arkansas.

I havent left. Though after the Cowboys lost Sunday night, I have been in football hibernation.
The football gods hate me right now. HS team i coach lost Fri, OU lost Sat, and Dalllas lost Sun. My football weekend was arse.

He has a great football mind and great leadership. Unfortunately, he is solely focused on defense. We havent had a halfway competent OC since FULR left. Our only decent qb in that time frame has been Dillon Gabriel, who we then ran off for Jackson Arnold (big oopsy daisy).
In my opinion, we need to poach a competent OC from an SEC or BIG10 school. We have had 0 success with these OCs coming from G5 schools trying to run their shite. The defenses in our conference are just too good for their flash in the pan bullshite offenses.
