This sooner who lives in Chapel Hill thinks this is bitter sweet.

I have a son who has level 3 Autism. The UNC players were buddies for a miracle league game. Wonderful kids.

I will always be a Sooner but next year I am a UNC fan.
I live in Chapel Hill. My son is special needs and does miracle league baseball. The UNC players were buddies last fall. Great kids.

This is bitter sweet for this Sooner.

Way way way too early.
I saw someone point out that that last time the World Cup was in the US was 1994. Coincidence?
Let's hold off a couple of days before talking like that.

OU did a number on that team with Varitek and Garciaparra.

Doubt we win many against that team but won the one that counted.

Shaq was dealt with for 3 years, as LSU never made it out of the first weekend for his career.

IIRC they didn’t have the outside shooters to keep teams from collapsing in on Shaq.

Remember those late ‘80s and early ‘90s Mizzou teams.
Anyone else rooting for Ole Miss but kind of rooting for Georgia to have a miracle score at the end just for the insanity of it?
I have a feeling Bama is going to go through what they did post Bear except this time there may not be a Stallings in the near future.

When you have a legend, nobody can live up to that standard yet everyone expects it. That’s a bad negative feedback loop.

I thought KSU was the worst program ever.

They probably were before Bill Snyder.
It isn’t the same but reminds me of OU in 2000.
About three decades of talking college football on the Internet and yet there is still always one arguing for the transitive property.

Given, the presence of tournaments themselves show we are willing to accept the transitive principle when declaring a champion.

If you are an tOSU fan, that hurts.

A pick six is always upsetting but one that goes for 70 yards is especially devastating. It means not only did you give them 7, you also lost a lot of field position.
We are controlling this game. I have confidence.

That doesn’t mean we will win.
The way that first half ended was unfortunate but these are two big boy programs with guys who can make plays.
We have been doing that my entire life. We aren’t stopping.

You can interpret it however you like. For me it is a reference to one of the top rivalries in CFB.

The fact that it bothers some Texas fans is both a plus and something that perplexes me. I would take it as a compliment but maybe ‘Horns are just exceptionally insecure.
We did beat the SEC West champion* Alabama in 2002 so there is a good chance we would have played in the conference championship game.

* - Alabama was on probation so they were not awarded the west championship but that is just a technicality and they proved they were the best team in the SEC west.
I think 'Bama should get in.

I am fine with someone saying Alabama would not get in if their season ended today but can work their way in with an SEC championship game win.

But if someone says they should get in today but won't if they lose the SEC championship game, I have a problem with that.

Conference championship games should only help and never hurt. Just my opinion.
