Trust me, nobody here is jealous of LSU. Most of your fan base is embarrassed with the situation. But whatever helps you cope.

LSU =three stooges...

It's like one calamity after another that's successive. And it's self inflicted. Now THIS is a decline!

What moron is going to hire a coach when he is involved in this kind of legal stuff with LSU?

Auburn has entered the chat >

LSU should be pretty thankful that Bama is no longer a permanent.

LSU could go in winless and still be the team Bama hates to lose to the most.

Got news for you, Bama hates losing to everybody. LSU is just another game.
Them Southern Boys Outdoors can cook!

Verge is pretty well liked in the conference and coaching circles. I am curious if he’s the athletic director after the hire, but I would at least trust verge hiring a top coach. Not sure about managing an athletic department.

So you'll be ok with a temp AD hiring your coach permanently, then another AD comes in to be his boss? Baw if ya'll go down that road you will be deep in the wilderness. If not already.

As bad as we are, nobody has won...big.

I think that can happen for Auburn Saturday. Vandy coming off a loss to Texas in a game they feel they should have won. Durkin will have something for Pavia, the X factor is will Auburn's QB's get rattled.

Dude, we don’t need some funds from “Children’s Hospital”.

We rob churches to buy magic ATM cards at the dog track between Auburn and Montgomery.

There is a flowchart which shows everything. Basically it was all with the FBI when we were closed down as an institution in 2010 or so.

Keep it down home cuz!

As a teenager, I remember beating LSU 3 - 0 in a rain storm in Red Stick on November 10, 1979. I've been to my share of games in the rain, but that evening it was damn nasty.

I listened to John Forney describe that game on the radio. Thinking boy it must be so much fun playing in a game like that. I don't think Bryant liked beating Cholly Mac had a soft spot for him.
Gonna bump this cause it's happening. Discuss

I mean Trump has "gotten involved" with CFB but I don't believe he'll actually make any decisions.

I wouldn't read too much into that, just bluster. But I do think your Governor will have a hand in it somehow. Why make that statement?

Why do people think the governor is going to be involved?

He got involved today, why not?

LSU about to wander in the wilderness

When the Guvnah plays his hand it ain't gonna turn out good.
In before some corndog says we jealous. Good luck Tigahs
Why would you want all that drama going on within your program? I don't think Sanders would touch all that, talk about clashing egos. Damn
Hopefully other schools will take note and stay away from this family. They will be nothing but internal trouble. I'm sure this is happening in many forms across the country. NIL needs serious regulations.
I think his camp wanted to fleece the Vols. Backfired big time.
Before I go any further let me state that the University of Tennessee absolutely did the right thing letting Nico hit the bricks. He was basically holding the team hostage. Having said that, Tennessee was also at the forefront of this whole NIL stuff and that opened the floodgates for what we have today in college athletics.
So congratulations Vols for helping frick up a fine sport and in part here's hoping the Fulmer curse continues.
