At what point do you say….this guy is now a detriment to our program?
I’d say Kiffin has Ole Miss around where Va Tech was in the 2000s but not peaking like 1999 etc. Is there a feeling in town that if you get rid of Kiffin for too many 10 wins with little to show for it you’ll go back to sub .500-ish late Nutt era seasons if you let go of him?
FSU and PSU went through something similar on a larger scale.

You seem like a mouthbreather. Kiffin is one of the best coaches Ole Miss has ever had, win percentage wise.

Did I miss something in the news? What has Kiffin done to be a "detriment" to their program? It looks to me he's made them about as relevant as they've been in 50 years.

Ole piss fans have been in denial since he arrived.

You people have the reading comprehension of a fricking 2 year old.
Of course he’s an all time great OM coach atm. But the standard has been raised. There’s a new standard of excellence at OM which I assume is at least 10 wins a year at least.

I think a lot of us are unsure. We've had three coaches in the last 40 years who have had 9+ win regular seasons. This is usually the part where something goes inevitably wrong. For 2, it was NCAA investigations, that's likely off the table. The other was Cutcliffe who wasn't that great but had Eli Manning to carry his water until he went off to the league.
On paper, it would appear we should be competitive for the foreseeable future. Since we've never really been there, it's hard to say when that would get old.

He's won 71% of his games at Ole Miss. Since 1999 (Cutcliffe's first year), Ole Miss has won 51% of its games, not including Kiffin's seasons.
Vaught won like 72% or something.
What is the detriment? His personality?

Don't blame us because you struggle to put words together.

Lane was announced as our coach 5.5 years ago in December of 2019. In that time we've seen unrivaled support for our football program and NIL and fundraising donations that have surpassed what even our 'best case scenario' projections were for the 2024-25 athletic year. Lane went 10-2 in his second year with a dog shite defense before losing the Sugar Bowl. Then he coached us to a Peach Bowl win before barely missing out on the first 12 team playoff. Hopefully we'll go 10-2 instead of 9-3 this season and make it in but we should be in contention in November again. Being in contention for the playoff in November is the ceiling at Ole Miss. Your post is stupid.

You still can't get over the fact that he chose Ole Miss over Arkansas, can you?

Who do you think brought about this new standard of excellence?
Was it Lane himself?
Oh, it was?
Lane has won 10 games or more three out of the past four seasons. Even by your own standards, in what world is Lane a detriment to our program?
