just one of those things. Tennessee didn't have the experience of being in such a playoff. Ohio State was at home and was eager to prove they were better than the Michigan game. Tennessee had key injuries early in the game.

Ohio State looked like the hares playing the tortoises last night. they looked like they had 14 men on the field on offense and defense, all of whom were faster than Tenner.

Tenner got screwed with the matchup as well. No way should Ohio State been the 8th seed. Tenn should've been playing AZ St., Boise, SMoo or Indiana.

I think Tenner will learn and be better for this embarrassment. the only silver lining is that Nico showed a lot of poise. It would have been worse without him.

Yea because of the weather which everyone said wouldn't be a factor.

Hamstring issue is likely a weather injury.

What was the excuse for those "SEC defensive linemen" huffing wind in the early 2nd quarter and going down on purpose?

That score is actually closer than the game was

Tenner got the worst beating so far. I still think they earned their spot just like the other teams.

That’s an interesting take.

I agree, they walked into a perfect storm - Ohio State rallying around an embattled coach after getting embarrassed at home against Michigan - there was no way they were going to lose that game. They played like a pack of wild dogs right out of the gate.

Ohio State under Day has always been up and down week to week though, kind of like Alabama under DeBoer, never know what you're going to get.

It's a hallmark of bad coaching

OSU QB played out of his mind and the Vile DC is a moron. That about sums it up.

The announcers were talking about it.The Vile D was letting receivers run wide open because of misalignment blown coverages and confusion. They were giving up the flats and single covering the best receiver on the field .QB was throwing dimes and that was it,

They flat got whipped at the LOS in short yardage.

Overhyped, but was a servicable QB.

I feel like something happened to Nico in the MS State game. Either his injury was worse than they let on or he got a case of the Yips. It didn't help going up against UGA a week later. But his passing and quick decision making changed after that game.

Ohio State shouldn't have lost to Michigan. Likewise, TN shouldn't have lost to Arkansas or they would have been in the SEC championship game and gotten a better seed.

Buckeyes out-SEC’d the unprepared & unmotivated Vols. It just meant more to them.

I can’t believe Tennessee is paying 8 mil for that kid. He may turn out to be great but he doesn’t seem to have the vision mental aspect to be a threat passing.

Let’s call a spade a spade. Tennesee had tons of warts that showed last night. I mean if Florida doesn’t puke all over themselves and leave 10 pts off the board, they beat the Vols at Neiland. Tennesee was soft up front and Ohio State dominated the LOS.

DL didn’t show up and they were always going to be the only hope we had. Offense has been anemic all year but it relied on running to the point of being 1 dimensional bc our WRs aside from Thornton can’t get separation against bigger experienced corners and Thornton along with Bru and Squirrel have spent 90 percent of the season nursing or playing with injuries.
