we're running screens because it's all Nuss can throw.
Arkansas is a losing football team. Oklahoma is not. we have no chance at either with Nuss at qb. I fully expect that Nuss will be our starter for the rest of the season. MVB gives us a chance to beat ARK. If he plays all games the rest of the year, well, we'd have to see him in the first 2 to make a judgment about our chances to beat OK. but i don't think we'll get that chance.

Because it's insane. this whole season has been insane.
and like the rest of the season, we are going to squander it on Nuss.

Even Arkansas can gameplan against Nuss. All you have to do is crowd the line of scrimmage to stop the run and the short screens. Nuss has shown that this year he can't throw the ball.

I could enjoy watching the game, even if we lose, if we gave the game to MVB, or even let Hurley get some snaps.

I can't help but watch, but it'll be a painful exercise once more.
All I have to say is Lane is going to get a big paycheck next year. can't blame him, but either LSU or Ole Miss is going to feel really f***ed and if I had to bet i'd say it's LSU if we think we're going to get him.
Please read coach Wilson's comments about Whit Weeks. Whit wanted to get in the Alabama game but they wouldn't let him. Because he was hurt. And he said they wouldn't let him play until he was healthy enough.

Nobody can convince me that Nuss didn't know he couldn't throw the ball more than 15 yards. to play QB with that knowledge let's everyone down, including yourself.

Every pass Nuss threw against Alabama was a tiny dink save for two throws. those throws were just long enough to not be called short but they were both slow floaters. the man could not physically throw any better than most fans because he was hurt.
It depends on what we see with our eyes? I remember Saban struggling at LSU. But you could tell he was working hard, demanded excellence, was building he facilities, and you could see with your eyes how hard the players were playing during those days. Also, the coaches weren't so stubborn. Even though they made mistakes, they didn't keep doing the same thing over and over.
i hope you are not suggesting that any criticism of Nuss is hate. I don't want him to ever take another snap for LSU, but I don't hate him.

I don't like the fact that he crippled this team trying to play when he physically could not play. I hear analysts talking all the time about teams becoming one dimensional, either all running or all passing. With Nuss this year we are zero dimensional.

I agree with you that there is no reason to really get on these kids. I believe Nuss wanted to succeed and tried hard. But I will never get over Nuss' and the coaches' decisions for him to play QB this year.
it's like living in a looney bin! what the whole world can see...
by performance Kirbo is no. 1. Kiffin is the guy on deck with 3 men on. We're still waiting for him to knock it over the fence.
how often do we burn 2 in the 1st and 3rd quarters, with nothing to show for it?
We wouldn't have had to suffer this season, or at least Nuss would have fully healed and been able to throw the ball.

Wilson said they wouldn't play Weeks unless he could play 100 percent and could protect himself.
quit giving him a hard time. it's still related. pretty cool - it's the same vibe, man.
there seems to be no end in sight to losing football at LSU. But, "we'll always have 2019...."
B Blanco, your logic is impeccable but this is LSU. i expect Nuss to start and play most of the game while my head explodes.
The defense will have a pulse, but the point is it's hard to imagine us outscoring Ark with our offense. Especially if Nuss is back in the game.

I agree that Petrino will put points on the board.

we still have to hold on. Arkansas game is looming huge. Petrino's offense can score but they have a terrible defense.

I agree but it's not over yet.
I never ever want to see Nuss take a snap for LSU again.
