If last season taught us anything, it's that a 2 loss team will never make it to a 4 team playoff even if they do happen to be one of the 4 best teams.

LSU path to the playoffs

LOL. Kelly 13-6, 4-4 the last 8 games, beaten by Ole Miss, and this guy is talking playoffs. What a rube.

LSU just gave up over 700 yards of offense and honestly the Arkie O (without Sanders and who just had 172 yards this week) was lighting you up as well. FSU obviously rolled it up on you at will. Your D sucks bro and it isn't getting fixed this year.

It's a joke that LSU is ranked with 2 losses right now. Could easily be 3 or even 4 more losses left on that schedule.

That would not be an automatic.
First, the committee has NEVER let in a 2 loss team.
2nd, there would have to be a country full of 2 loss teams for that to be considered and that's not going to happen with what I'm seeing. Ohio St, Mich, even PSU out of the Big 10 aren't losing two. The Pac 12 has Washington and USC, hell even Washington St looks good. Texas isn't looking like they will lose. What two teams are gonna beat Florida St? Notre Dame is winning ugly but they are winning.

I think the more likely thing to happen is the SEC doesn't get a team in period. The SEC champ will get in if they don't have more than one loss....maybe. Two loss, no way.

The committee proved last year with TCU and a a few years ago with Cincy that they really don't look that hard at schedules.

Mods, please move this thread to the 'beyond fantasy' forum.

Please. Stop this. You're making this harder for all of us.

There's no "getting the defense together" this year, dude. We have NO DB's and you can't go pick them off the transfer tree in the middle of the year.

This isn't our year. Just crack open a 12 pack on Saturdays, enjoy the season, and stop embarrassing us on SEC message boards.

LSU has about the same chance of making the playoffs as Florida. Slim and none and slim took the day off.

Y’all aren’t beating Bama in Tuscaloosa and might lose this weekend and at home against the Aggies. Hell even the Auburn game isn’t a probable win. Even if LSU somehow makes it to Atlanta they’re not beating Georgia or even Kentucky should some chaos happen

Not true. This could very well be the year that the SEC is left out with a two-loss champion. IF that were to happen.

LSU’s defensive coordinator is worse than Pete Golding, so the LSU defense improving enough to win out and be a potential playoff team seems unlikely.

Yeah they would, unless there were other multiple 2 loss champs. But face it, you know this is where we are going:

0-1 loss B1G champ, 1 loss runner up
0-1 loss PAC champ, likely a 1 loss runner up
1 loss B12 champ (Either Texas or OU)
0-1 loss ACC champ (FSU which has a win over LSU)

All of these get in over a 2 loss LSU, even if they win the SEC. It's wait till next year for LSU. They can lose 2 games and get in.
