Sad to see it gone. I fear we have just begun to see the changes, many more to come.

Knocking the ever loving piss out of some unlucky frick trying to catch a pass in dangerous territory. Blasting him the frick up and getting up and celebrating with your teammates instead of hanging it up for the next half game.

It’s supposed to be a violent game. Taking the violence out makes it glorified flag football.

Yea, the SECNFL sucks.

We'll all go along with it because we have no other options, but it sucks and we all know it sucks.

Oh well.

One of the better traditions that has fallen off is looking forward to a bowl game, no matter its location, against an opponent your team hadn't played much if ever. They were more or less meaningless but not in the same way they are now. It was a big deal if your team made a bowl game. If it ain't the CFP it isn't now...that is a shame for all but 4 fan bases every year.

As a UGA fan listening to games on the radio was a HUGE part of being a fan. Only a few games a year were on TV. Even getting scores from other games was a task. It made places like Eugene Oregon or College Station PA seem like foreign lands....

Yeah moving to the west coast it’s amazing how jaded I am with sports in general. Pro sports have always been trashy so mostly been a college fan over the years.

I need peak Verne lundquist to read me a bed time story, baws.

Seen a few natties and incredible games over the years. I do miss seeing my sec alum friends at other schools but everyone moves away as time goes on

Now I’m just here to waste time

Agree with you.

No bullshite 10am or 11am games for TV.

No constant barrage of commercials on the big screen during the game.

No pussy assed obsessions over uniforms with a new strip of grey or whatever…

Real fans had the good seats…. Not corporations and people sitting on their hands and stuffing their face looking at iPhones.

Yep. Get the frick off my lawn!

No war ever took place that money wasn’t at the center of.

My college psychology professor.
He would probably be fired for this statement today.

1970 USC Song Girls & Men Cheerleaders

My niece, a 1985 USC Song Girl

1965...the late, great USC coach, John McKay

Greatest comeback of all time: In 1974, #6 USC down 24-6 at the half to #5 Notre Dame; comes back in 2nd half to win, 55-24. USC won UPI national title.

Not looking forward to these new conferences much tbh. No tradition, no rivalries, no school pride, etc. Just all about money and greed.

Keep reinforcing those stereotypes.
