Hundreds are going to come across this devastating Yahoo hit piece :(
I would like to know who LSU is considering that wouldn’t leave in the middle of the night for the job because of a buyout dispute.

I haven’t heard of a single head coach or assistant candidate besides maybe Marcus Freeman that has a better situation than LSU right now. Every candidate I’ve seen is from a smaller school or a top assistant besides Kiffin and Freeman. And I don’t even think LSU will try for Freeman.
Whether or not Lane takes the job is another matter, but Lane Kiffin knows Kelly is a lazy piece of shite that squandered an incredible opportunity. The university had no problem paying Les Miles and even Ed Orgeron after his off the field antics.

In the event Lane Kiffin was hired and failed (which he wouldn’t fail), LSU would pay for his buyout and move on without any hesitation.

People thinking Jeff Landry is going to stop LSU from offering any of its candidates whatever it wants just lives in a fantasyland and probably doesn’t like the university.
Brian Kelly just wants that 100 million. I am sure he’s well aware we know he squandered the opportunity and lived on the golf course. At this point his priority is taking the loot.
Ding ding ding. Dude looks like he stress eats bbq in the locker room.

Still can’t shake Scarborough coming out and saying he’s the laziest qb he’s seen in the ops building. Makes perfect sense.
Yall are the softest pieces of shite

If lane kiffin turns LSU down it isn’t going to be over manufactured drama.
I really don’t care, but even if it’s unethical to get out of the contract there couldn’t be anyone less deserving of that money than Brian Kelly.

Verge might not be the guy but every passing day I am more happy with firing Scott Woodard.

I completely agree with this. The entire college football world knows Kelly is a gigantic piece of shite and the university would never do this to someone they have an ounce of respect for.

You mean to tell me the SEC Rant and Tiger Rant are full of sensationalist losers??? No way

Wouldn’t him not signing a new contract indicate interest?

Stay focused, baws.

Players will opt out. Recruits will decommit. More losses are inevitable.

Nothing else matters if Lane takes the call :pimp:

I swear we were going to not commit 8 false starts but we were sick

Maybe one day.
Well sure. Between the media witch hunt and NIL bullshite it’s not difficult to see she’s annoyed.

re: 2025 Wisconsin…..

Pretty sure I read Wisconsin was last in the big 10 increasing their football budget compared to the rest of the conference since 2005. Not to say they should be complete arse, but it’s not the same playing field previous Wisconsin coaches had.
Keep thinking Kim is going to retire, but if she can land Jerzey with who is coming back she is set for a nice run.
I’ll give Woodward this: besides the volleyball coach he absolutely nailed every non revenue sport. Amazing what the soccer and swim coaches do with their resources.

ETA: also men’s tennis coach is a bit of a bust but the women are fantastic
This “he did not fit in” mantra is such bullshite. We’d be in the playoffs if he cared half as much as O and Les.

Kelly knows how to coach. He’s just old and apathetic.
Glad his kids got degrees from LSU. It’s not their fault their dad lived on the golf course.

This was nicely written minus the “all in”. Pretty sarcastic thing to say after what’s come out regarding Kelly’s day-to-day activities around the program.

Kelly did leave the program better than he found it but I think everyone, including him, are excited to move on.
It’s been hilarious reading the internet warrior UNO alums beg for this to not happen. I seriously doubt they contribute to the university or attend sporting events in support.

Suddenly they dust off their pirate gear and are in despair.
Let’s be honest. He walked into the job, verge and his cronies gave him marching orders, and then someone explained to Rousse about verge’s skeletons in the closet.

Verge is pretty well liked in the conference and coaching circles. I am curious if he’s the athletic director after the hire, but I would at least trust verge hiring a top coach. Not sure about managing an athletic department.
