Two games come to mind.

LSU at Arkansas in November 2014. The temperature was in the 20s or 30s and there was a chance of snow. Arkansas won.

TCU vs. Baylor in Fort Worth two days after Thanksgiving in 2015. Freezing rain fell throughout the game, along with some snow. I was reminded of this game as I watched some of the Baylor-Air Force game last night.

Not really a college game I suppose but the 2010 Senior Bowl here in Mobile when Tim Tebow was here. Around 40 degrees and the wind was howling out of the north.

Indy Bowl.
ULM v Ohio. Cold as balls and the game was just as terrible.

Can't remember what year or temp but it was Bama and Florida SEC Championship game at Legion. Cold North wind and it spit snow late in the game.

2000 Iron Bowl. Temp was barely over freezing with high winds and snow/sleet/rain mix. Miserable doesn’t come close to describing it. Everyone was just ready to get it over with and get somewhere warm & dry. We won 9-0 on three field goals.

Tried to attend the Browns-Raiders playoff game in 1980. I think it was 4 degrees. Wind chill off Lake Erie would have been miserable. Waited in line for several hours to buy tickets, but they sold out. Had to watch on TV. Was glad I didn’t get those tickets.

Coldest in a Baton Rouge was an LSU baseball game in February. At or below freezing. Brought a down sleeping bag to sit in. I’m a convert - sleeping bags are great for watching cold games.

2008 Alabama vs. Mississippi State. I actually was helping the ESPN camera crew on the field that night. It started sleeting in the fourth quarter.

"Blizzard Bowl" in Shreveport - MS State vs Texas A & M. It was an awesome game, and the blizzard just made it that much more fun!

????

Duke was higher division

Sewanee was lower and won the SCAC a year later in 63'

Why was the game played?
Not a Dook fan so not on my radar, could have been another school and not Sewanee?

Arkansas vs Troy State in Little Rock 2002. Only like 40 degrees but it was windy and raining in early November and I was not prepared.

Texas @ Baylor December 7, 2013

Game was 29 at 2:30 p.m. kickoff and got to 24 by the second quarter. It was the last game in their stadium before they moved to McLane

Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas v. Nebraska, 1974

Temp @ 17 F, winds gusting to 25-30 mph, wind chills @ -2 F.

Frozen seats in the upper deck. Hot chocolate froze before we got to our seats.

Brutal F***in' wind! Coldest I have ever been.
