Story out of New Orleans around 1980 was two guys got into a fight and one stabbed the other to death. They were fighting over a banana.

The reason I recall this story was my high school Civics teacher made some claim to our class that black people don’t fight and kill each other. My friend brought up this story. Not sure what grade he made in that class. :lol:

We have a branch of my family (step-brothers and their wives) that lean left but for the most part my family is conservative. We avoid getting into politics when we get together. It’s just not worth it.

There was one time at Christmas that it was briefly brought up by my sister-in-laws when Trump was running against Hillary. They said Hillary was more qualified to be President. I just laughed and they shut up about it. :lol:

Years ago we drove to Houston from Louisiana and got into town around 10 pm. We ran into some construction on one of the highways. The crew were working at night with lighting so basically construction 24 hours. I was shocked and impressed to see this since Louisiana construction goes on for years.

Kind of like Coach O with the 2019 season, I will be forever grateful for Frank bringing Fournette to LSU. He was an amazing player to watch. I just shake my head when I see his highlights. However it is time to move on.
