Auburn is 0-4 in the SEC

Posted by fanmeister on 10/19/25 at 11:06 am
for the third straight year. They are 5-15 in their last 20 SEC contests. Can we please lay to rest the myth that "When you count Auburn out is when they win it all"? I think that's really only happened once in my lifetime.
Alabama has enough great plays and great wins that they don't have to name them all...
Must be really tough to be an auburn fan if that's all you've got.

Dude he fell out of the stand on the 18th

Ok - So I just read the story. Either way, I hope he gets better. If it pisses you off that I didn't know that sooner then I hope it keeps you up at night.

Prayers for Big Ben Macdonald...

Ben Macdonald suffered several broken ribs and a major concussion yesterday evening as he fell 25 feet from a tree stand. I hope he makes a quick recovery - I really enjoy his commentary on the college baseball games. He was a great pitcher at LSU, and seems to be a great guy.
Antonio Langham Pick Six in the first ever SEC Championship Game at Legion Field. Was such an incredible event.

Second best was being at the "Blizzard Bowl" - Independence Bowl in Shreveport - Miss St vs Texas A & M. Had 8 inches of snow by halftime, and the game went to triple overtime. I had my sons with me and we had such a great time. I20 was closed at the Minden exit the next day, so we spent New Years Day in a hotel room watching all of the games. Great day!
I have a 1939 nickel in my coin collection, if any A & M fans are interested...
I think MSU has a pretty good shot at a F4

I haven't seen MI State yet, but I think that Purdue has a good chance to advance, especially since they are playing in Indianapolis next round.
I agree with Houston being vulnerable - just don't think they have been tested like the SEC teams have, and Duke looks to be peaking at the right time.

Will this be one of those years...

Where all four of the number one seeds make it to the Final Four? If not,
who seems the most vulnerable?

You must have been watching the wrong game as ASU did not play.

Starting tonight for Texas State against Rice. Seems like forever ago when he was at LSU and then Auburn. Glad to see that he landed in a good spot.

The SEC championship will possibly be detrimental to SEC teams moving into the 12 team format.... Conference championships will not mean much

The four highest rated conference champions will receive a first round bye in the new model. Where that hurts most is when you have two of the top four teams from one conference - only the champ will get a bye.

You're trying too hard...
Congrats. I think that if any team listed the player who they most feared to face, Daniels would be at the top of that list. He is a unique talent, in a very talented league.

The news on his cancer was not good at all, but hopefully it has not spread beyond the tumor. As he is trying to relearn to speak and walk let's all hope that soon he will be back on the field, making tackles and pick sixes.
You might want to consider posting a thread introducing yourself, if you haven’t already done so.

That's just mean...

Auburn Faces a Brutal Month...

With Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss all on the schedule, what will be the best bet for their next win? I think that if they can get their QB issues settled they might have a real shot vs Ole Miss.

What will become of the Rose Bowl?

With the Pac 12 disintegrating, what will happen to the Rose Bowl? For many years they have used their clout to get preferential treatment from the bowl committees. I'm just wondering how these new conferences will affect all of the traditional bowl tie-ins.
