#1 Purdue vs. Ohio State in Columbus. I was a kid and my dad took me to the game. Temp was -14 (not wind chill!). Buckeyes upset Mike Phipps and the Boilermakers that day and I'll never forget it...

My great grandma (no pics) took me to the Duke and Sewanne game in Tampa back in 1962. It was 12 below zero.

Fond memories because she passed two weeks ago.

Couple of tOSU/Michigan games that were well below zero but the worst was a MNF game in Cleveland that was -17 with the wind coming in off the lake.

BRUTAL.

LSU and State at Memorial Stadium in Jackson in November 1974.

It was about 35 degrees and raining. Was the coldest I have ever been.

I have been to games when the temp was lower than that but the conditions were clear.

35 degrees with rain is the most miserable weather there is.

State won 7-6. LSU scored late and went for two and the win but the pass was incomplete in the end zone.

LSU-Troy in whatever year LSU had to make the huge comeback to win. I was miserable the entire game. Only game I’ve ever thought about leaving very early.

I was going to call BS on that but national weather bureau did record -8 in 1962 in Tampa. Damn.

Oddly enough, I went to a Mizzou spring game that was so cold, my flask froze.

Does it count if the games were played inside? Some of the Bama/UF SEC title games were pretty cold outside.

09 Liberty Bowl

To top it off it was one of the worst college football games I’ve ever seen.

I was ready to gtfo of there soon as it was over.

LSU versus Utah. Late November 1974. It was postponed from earlier in the year because of a hurricane. Froze my butt off. The Tiger Band put out an album that year. The picture on the cover was of the stadium for that game. It was uncharacteristically empty except for crazy people like me.

Belk Bowl 2014. Froze my arse off in that concrete mosoleum in Charlotte.
UGA beat the hell out of Petrino/Grantham’s Louisville squad 37-14. Chubb and Michel ran for 300 yards. Had snowed all around the south. Lived in So Cal at the time and they even had snow there that week.

Alabama vs South Carolina (2009). Mark Ingram ran for 246 yards and a TD. Officially entered the Heisman race that night. It was cold as shite for Tuscaloosa in October.

BTW, Woody Hayes wore his usual short sleeve white shirt. And OSU won. I was a Buckeye fan back then, moved to NO & BR and got dipped in the Tiger blood. Now I love LSU and could care less about the Bucks...
