You’re legitimately defending LSU as a program with posts like this

Kelly is a good coach and he generally put together good coaching staffs at ND. Really the only things to complain about were nepotism with respect to some of his OC’s and being a lazy recruiter. He wasn’t a bad recruiter by any means, as he was reportedly very good with the parents during in home visits but he didn’t put in as much effort as he should have.

So every other team made a bad hired and will never get their chance? Even Freeman at ND is doing a lot better than Kelly ever did at ND in recruiting!

ND is also ranked in the top 10 and where is LSU ranked?

In the top 10...and its july, recruiting rankings are meaningless. I dont expect a Missouri fan to understand that though.

Are the ND fans and players glad that Freeman is the HC and not Kelly?

We’ve been over this. He became a really good coach by the time he got to LSU. Then after 2019 he decided he didn’t want to grind anymore.

The correct answer and all credit for the LSU 2019 season is Joe Brady

What an idiot. It was all because if Joe burrow. Do I need to remind you that Joe Brady got fired already?

Burrow

I know Burrow gets all the credit but are we really gonna ignore the reality that LSU has 2 of the 4 best receivers in the NFL and they're 22 and 23 years old?

According to the most recent rankings, also top 10 (247, Rivals and ON3).

It's July-

When its all said and done, LSU will be moving up a few spots, ND will be dropping a few, both will be top 10 and Missouri will be nowhere to be found in the rankings.

It's always amusing when Mizzou fans try to talk about football.

Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, and OSU and possible USC in a couple of years? Then there is Texas, Clemson, and OU.

LSU was in the playoff with the best team in history in 2019, but according to internet user truelefty, A&M, Texas, and USC have a better chance of getting to a playoff than a Brian Kelly coached LSU team.

10 more tard points to OP.

Honestly, he kinda had the same trajectory as Les, just a much quicker rise and fall.

then how come Kelly couldn't get it done at ND?

Couldn’t get it done? The ceiling for modern ND is the CFP. He hit that ceiling.

Winningest coach in ND history

All time wins, not win percentage.
He stayed longer and played another 1/3 season of games than Ara. Kelly won 74 percent of his games which ranks behind Rockne, Leahy, Parseghin and Holtz.
