The AEMS macro field of view is almost the same as the SRO. It’s .98” wide and .89” tall. The macro is .9” wide and .9 tall.

Holosun is starting to ship the AEMS macro. Going to get one for 2k11. Footprint is 509t. Comes with RMR-509t adapter plate. Will have red, green and gold reticles. For those of you with astigmatism the gold is great. I have a 507 comp gold and I love it. They are selling for $369.

Did a bunch of research before I pulled the trigger on my 2k11 pro comp. Kimber has upped their game in the last few years. Staccato makes good stuff but they are kinda like Nike. A bunch of competitors in the 2011 game now like Kimber, Bul, and Sig at lower cost. You can get a SS 2k11 pro comp for $1800. That’s a ton of gun for the $$$. Hoping my gun comes to my LGS tomorrow. They ordered it from Lipseys Friday.

I had the 6.6 gasser in 2021 2500 Chevy. Loved the truck and engine. I wouldn’t get another diesel unless it was making me money. The 6.6 gas pulled a 22 ft flat bed with 79 hp Kubota with bushhog and disk no problem. Also pulled a 34 ft bumper camper. I got 18-19 mpg on interstate. I put 60k miles on it before trading it in to downsize. The ride in the Chevy is much better than my 2017 F250 if comfort matters.

Apparently the old man that started MPI died and the daughter is trying to keep it afloat. She is apparently a terrible business woman.

Flew from DFW to Albuquerque Tuesday. Flight time was almost 3 hrs instead of normal 1 hr 20 minutes. We had to fly around storms. Flew 960 miles. It’s 568 miles normal flight.

Again Fock isn’t the only company doing it. Motorola has a subsidiary called vigilant solutions doing the same thing. They actually have the world’s largest commercial plate database in the world.
Cell companies sell your data to marketing firms every day. When a retailer wants to look at moving into a new area they can buy cell data that shows the comings and going of people to gauge traffic patterns to the area.

I’m speaking of ALPR in general. It helps solve 1000’s of violent crimes per year. It helps find missing kids, dementia patients etc. it’s a valuable tool. Whether you agree with it or not.
