I was on airline hwy at the red-light north of I-12. Got rear ended by a white van going 70Mph. Dude was on his phone and never looked up. I was in a suburban and hit me so hard my phone flew from my console out the back window.

Over 50% of all guns stolen in the US are stolen from vehicles. It’s estimated in 2024 that almost 85% of criminals acquired their guns from illegal means…stole it, bought it from someone who stole it etc. keep it in your vehicle if you want but make sure it gets locked down.
I have a S&W Model 15 that was stolen out of my dad’s truck in 1984. He reported it. In 1992 his buddy who was a detective called him and told him his gun was used in a local murder. My dad got it back after the guy pleaded to manslaughter. He gave it to me some years later.

I put one of the new Holosun EvO SPR on mine with a B&T low profile mount. Really like the 26mm objective.

Agree with downshift. Most magnet mounts don’t fully secure your gun. If you got into a wreck and needed to get it would it stay secure? I am thinking about getting a quick strike mount
