I personally think that BK is a heck of a coach, and I am happy for him to be at LSU. Things seemed to get stagnant for him at ND, as there are a lot more things that are involved for a HC than winning games. I am a big Freeman fan, and I think that he will do reasonably well, but I would temper expectations a bit. Recruiting is a large portion of a HC job, but ND is a hard program to start at as your first big HC job. That being said I hope he does very well for yall

How in the freak is that possible, when nobody has played a game yet, let alone fall practice. Absolute moronic take. Troll.

More weird weight room encounters?

I'm getting the frick out of that weight room when coach strolls in.

Many within ND feel that it was indeed BK's personal ceiling at ND but not the program's. And that a more active recruiter at HC could recruit the necessary talent to bridge the current talent gap.

There may be some truth to that, but BK built a hell of a recruiting staff here and he salvaged the 2022 class into 6th overall. He's doing well with 2023 also.

I understand Notre Dame has to cast a wider net, and Freeman may just be a better man for the job now.

I think most rational LSU fans recognize that parts of Kelly's job that he wasn't so great at in South Bend will not be as much of a factor in Baton Rouge. Cornerbacks and wide receivers grow on trees here. You can damn near keep a 3 deep filled on skill positions and dline between the Florida panhandle and Houston, and recruit nationally for OL, QB, TE.

To be fair, the 2020’s has only accumulated 2 seasons worth of games, and that’s pushing it if you’re counting the 2019-20 season
. To be fair, that was lobo and Daniels way of zinging lsu fans in 2021.

“We are 2-1 versus you.”

Then Ed beat them and he went .500 vs aggy.

They shut up about that, quicklike.

Don't y'all constantly talk shite about Jimbo not winning the big games? And yet you think we should respect BK when he has a proven track record of being a complete no show when he has a big game?

Yes, he made the playoffs but those teams absolutely did not deserve to be there.

The 2018 team absolutely deserved to be there. Offensively, 10 of the 11 starters were either drafted or have been on an active NFL roster. Defensively, 8 of the 11 starters were either drafted or have been on an active NFL roster. 5 Defensive Ends from that roster have played in the NFL.

That was a really good team once Ian Book took over as the starter in the 4th game of the season. We just ran into a Clemson team that is probably a top 10 team of all time. The issue with that team was depth at corner. We had 2 NFL draft picks and then a bunch of stiffs. When Julian Love got injured, Clemson started to pick on his replacement. It was a 3-3 game when he got injured.

You don't have to respect him.

There's absolutely no reason for you to worry.

Somehow in the deranged mind of a swamp rat, mocking their coach's joke of a record is the same as being afraid of him.

I think that's a very fair assessment of the situation and one of the two major factors in Kelly's decision to move to the Bayou. The other being that his contract at ND was c. $7.5m pa through 2024 (and the ND AD refused to increase or extend it without a national championship trophy), and LSU offered $95m in total through 2032.

My bad. You are correct sir it was the season ending show down. I was so used to seeing LSU end the season in a bowl. That was the last nn bowl season till 2020. Not a bad run. At least EIGHT wins every season in between.

Exactly every tracks winningest by most total wins. Just like record VS top 10 or top 25. It's at time of game not end of season rankings.

He beat everyone except teams in the playoffs that were twice as talented, same exact shite that Oklahoma does
