Came to say this. The way he penned up Johnny Football was masterful.
Hold on against Bama in 12 and 14 and he’d be the GOAT DC.

Plus, Brittany would never - she’s not Giselle.

He was never going to be a starting QB
I still found the playcalling weird when he was starting. Lots of under center play action, turning his back to the defense. Would have liked to have seen him in something like the Ravens/Bills run with their dual threats.

Maybe another year removed from the injury makes him faster and stronger but I wouldn't put money on it
Why would you bet against someone this dedicated and disciplined, surrounded by the best trainers and rehabilitation professionals in the world, regaining his former abilities given this much time?

I always wanted Taysom to get paid. Not as much now, but still a decent contract.

It seems strange to assume there should be a purpose to life beyond survival and reproduction.
Logically I see this in how natural selection works and has led to so much species-level success along with horrific suffering of individuals.
Everything makes sense in a purely materialist framework, but it bothers the hell out of me that such an unintelligent unconscious process could give rise to conscious beings with enough awareness to experience the pain but no way to alter the structure of existence.
South American philosopher Julio Cabrera calls this “frictioned terminality” and devastatingly elucidates the existential dissonance I’ve experienced since the age of about 12.
re: Sam Leavitt speaks for the first time as an LSU quarterback

Well considering our top 2 were him and Sorsby, I’ll take my chances with Sam.
Big thing will be a consistent physical run game, the lack of which was one of the most disappointing parts of the Kelly era.

re: Demetrius Byrd arrested

Both Jones and Byrd had their pro careers snuffed out before they even started by car crashes - Chad especially could have been a star in either sport.

Pretty sure I know who you are referring to if you are talking about a LSU/BTR circle of people. Not naming names obviously, but she has been on an insane run of shite she has put on social media lately.
I think so too… at first I was sure she was hacked. Looks like a well-known model?

He reminds me a bit of Matt Flynn - not the biggest arm and will toss up some ducks, but will stand in the pocket or lower his shoulder to make key plays in the 4th.
We’ll see if he can develop the leadership skills that made MF15 so special.

re: NJ woman, 25, charged with sexually assaulting young boy
Posted by ForeverEllisHugh on 7/16/26 at 10:36 pm to JayVegas702
So apparently this was all altered and blown out of proportion for clicks: for starters the child was a girl - the accused was sitting on the toilet when the kid apparently got curious about her lady bits so she found it amusing and recorded it.

I wonder what particularly freaked the kid out - you’d think at that young a naked woman might = “food”.
This kind of thing is really hard to explain biologically - as wrong as it by our current moral standards, all the stuff with pubescent minors has a biological basis and was acceptable not too long ago.

Paul was always a class act here and fielded some incredible teams - 2013 wins it all with the current bats/balls and in 2017 UF just made some elite plays (also criminal we didn’t see Lange vs Faedo)

Silver lining, should be run support for Skenes before long.

Castlevania, whatever Miyazaki comes up with after Duskbloods, the Silksong expansion… not much. Glad I have a huge backlog.
re: Ever wondered how 2019 LSU would fair against 2011 LSU?
Posted by ForeverEllisHugh on 7/9/26 at 10:57 pm to MilkJug
This matchup will always fascinate me like no other.
In my opinion this is the greatest offense and greatest defense in college football history.
The bottom line is that neither team faced anything comparable - closest things for 2011 offensively were Oregon and West Virginia (maybe Arkansas) while 2019’s toughest defenses were Auburn, UGA, and Clemson.
If 2011 can’t start Mett, I just can’t bet against 2019. Chase and Jefferson would be able to get open enough against Claiborne and Simon… but then I remember the X-factor that was the Badger.
If we really do live in a simulation and the programmers are reading this, please let us see this game.
