Something feels good about this Golesh led team this year. I’m a big fan of the standards and attention to little detail things he is trying to implement and I hope it comes to fruition for him and us. Being cautiously optimistic about this season but I like the message the team is receiving for once. Hope we have a surprisingly good year but since I’ve been an Auburn fan since the 90s hope you all have your heart medication filled and ready. War damn eagle yall!! Glad it’s almost football season!

I don't see how it could get worse. Just a reminder, Freeze lost to Stoops last year.

Freeze lost his first golf outing last year……and stayed consistent throughout the season. The golf season …..and life.

I’m not predicting that Golesh is the next Pat Dye or that he will bring us a natty or whatever but I feel really good about this being our most fun season since 2019

This sounds eerily like the days leading up to harsins first season. Fwiw I like him too but this time i want to see the candy before i hop in the van.

We’ve been ripped off & hustled so much recently that it’s damn hard to muster up any semblance of trust & faith before we’ve even taken the 1st snap of the season.
I’m all for “cautious optimism” & the hypothetical concept of “feeling good” in mid August
But I’d sure as $hit trade that for dollars-to-donuts for “feeling good” come mid-November
(It’s been a LONG g@d d@mned time since I felt good about Auburn Football in mid-November)
For what it’s worth?…I genuinely & honestly hope you’re right.
For now, let’s “stick a pin in it” and how ‘bout we “circle back” in mid-November & hopefully you’ll prove me wrong on the eve of the Iron Bowl…and by THEN I’m hoping we all feel pretty damn good

Normally, with less than 2 weeks, there would be nights where I can't sleep in anticipation. Now, kind of meh.
Not NIL, the Portal, NCAA, refs, or ESPN conspiracy....Auburn has completely ruined this for me. And, those f*ckers want more money.
Guy at work who's son is on the 2-deep (not a flex), just said 9 wins minimum.

It will be nice not to lose a lot of games in the fourth quarter by less than a touchdown. If we can win most of the close games, instead of lose almost all of them, that will be a huge improvement. That seems within reach this year, but the schedule also looks pretty tough, so it will be a challenge to say the least.

I think he has what it takes to turn things around. The Harsin experiment was a bust. He had a bad personality. Freeze was a sleeze. Golesh is up and coming.

This was Pat Dye’s favorite Broadway musical.
As he aged he expanded his interest. Japanese maples, friendship with Harper Lee, and Les Mis were stories I read about after he was not coaching.
Coach Golesh certainly comes from a background that is very different than Coach Dye, but I believe he is driven by a similar work ethic.
Neither were wealthy growing up. Dye made the most of his opportunities. Golesh is getting his chance.

It sucks doesn't it. The only two players I can name on our entire offense that I'm certain are still there are Brown and Cobb.
