I keep hearing this. However, we were 128th in football last year when we allowed 1st downs on 3rd & 10+, so far this year opponents are 11/14 on 4th downs. Please explain how this is the offense's fault?
So if the Defense makes the opponents Offense go 3 and our or 6 and out how is the offense the problem. I can understand that people think that if a fast offense keeps going 3 and out that it puts stress on the D but if the D got itself off the field then what is the issue?
I have seen nasty Ds in my life and I never equated them to their paired offense. Auburn used to have a lot of them.
I believe it is a coaching issue. Most offensive coaches don't care much for Defense and vice versa. Go back and look at different coaches in their early years and see. A lot of successful Coaches learn both are important and you need to be real good in all phases to be consistent.

Auburn's talent level was also below FL so it made the decision easier to do. Take FL job, big backing and move on. Time is the factor that will tell who is the better HC over time say 5-6 years. No, I don't think they know nor care. Just listen to what they say and their actions. Cohen thinks things are rosy. They don't check the pulse of the average fan. Moves like to ATL for the opener just so they could make 5mil. Well there are other ways they could make the 5 mil throughout the season plus get the town some benefit. It is a partnership that they want to be one sided.

Yeah that is mostly what is at the botanical garden. They have plant sales twice a year. Picked up a peanut butter berry for my son & vanilla banana plant. We also got them some cool lime type trees etc. They have a ton of decorative outdoor trees and plants.

Nope...too much money for travel, time off, hotel, tickets, et al for watching a sub par product that has NIL around 40 Mil which seems like a ripoff in comparison to other teams.
And, I can take that money and spend it on something fun to do, that won't raise my blood pressure.

Our D is showing it as we don't have the talent that we need. O Line is slim but hey BB should be getting the ball out before 2.5 seconds to give that line time. That is what should be happening.

Yes we have a talent issue Fl retained more talent we did have Durkin on D still there but he didn’t retain talent. Also Golesh wasn’t probably doing pre portal season and Sumerall and staff probably was. So easier choice is FL. Golesh left scrambling on players. However my point about durkin still stands. Fl one punted once hope he gets a HC offer this off season and takes it.
