I want this every year for our football. Sweet 16 or better for our basketball and Regionals or better for baseball.

You forgot about womens sports. I want them to succeed as well but it seems like we don't keep an eye on them. If we put a few bucks in say women's b-ball, softball or soccer we could become a powerhouse. We have good facilities for those sports. But it doesn't look like a priority.

Butch is the best baseball coach we have ever had.

Imagine Hal Baird with NIL.
9 Tourneys in his 16 years.

Butch is doing well also with 5 in his 10 years.

More interested in plugin other holes than the ones in the program. Also he didn't replace good coaches when they left, took step down in areas. Just my opinion.

I am traveling in July to see my son in NOLA. We plan on going up through parts of MS on the way back as we swing over to see some family in Alabama.

Any good recommendations on seeing some civil war sites? or other interests in history that is worth going to see? MS is where I really haven't seen but as a kid & young adult went through many of the ones in VA, PA, GA & TN but haven't seen much of MS

Just lost my dad a couple weeks ago. He had a good run but he was riddled with Alzheimer’s.

Sorry to hear about that. Similar to when I lost my Pops. He has a different form of dementia similar to those that took the football hits and also had Bone Cancer at the same time. Hard to see him go through that. I helped take care of him at a point and was lucky enough to be there when he died.

Psychogical or couldnt handle the wear and tear?

Happened in my school. Stupid coach had us out playing in sleet trying to make us go full force. Freezing cold a few of us tore up our shoulders in throwing. Never the same after that.
Hope everyone had a great day out there celebrating with you mom or the mom to your kids or grand kids!

Auburn the last 4-5 years, how do you not know what options there are?

I had no clue either when I was there in the 80s because I was a poor student. Money went to pay rent tuition etc. Eating out was a cheap pizza when I had a coupon that I could stretch for a couple of days.
So...hope we are done talking about Pros while in our Recruiting Thread.

Any speculation if we will be picking up another recruit/transfer?
Congrats! What's next? Good luck finding a restaurant.

They have a service here where they come to your home. My son was holding his dog when she passed. They spent a good day together and the person came in the afternoon to do it. It was nice that she didn't have to go into a sterile environment but was able to be in her environment with loved ones. It was a great experience compared to the alt.
Good talk on The Next Round talking about it.

They go into it pretty well & the reasoning.

Another talking it through. Starts at the 11:21 mark Auburn Tiger on Auburn Live

CBM’s deal was 3M with 600k of that paid back to Auburn for breach of contract.

surprising because that is that is almost 3 x what I heard. I heard it was ~1.1 - 1.2 mil 3x what he was making and the payback was 60% if he left.

Sorry. Venting a bit. Been a long 24 hours.

No need to be sorry. Tough when a pet has been with you that long. We had to put down one of our cats that had issues (14 yrs), our son's dog that had cancer (10 yrs) plus others.

They are part of the family and are tough to loose. We see pictures of the pets and have fond memories. I am sure you will do the same over time.

Sorry that you had to put the cat down but 18 years is a long time for a cat.

Sorry to hear about your cat. We have done that a few times over the years.

Will be at the game tonight taking my little girl who is 2 to her first game. Hoping she enjoys it

When we lived there, I got deployed after 9/11 & the wife took the kids to many of the games with our boys. They had a great time back then. Hope your little one loves it like my boys did.

Those CA taxes about to put a dent in his dream.

Yep and if pursued to pay back the 60% of what he got paid since Feb...really might be in the hole...
