They were paying players when I was there in the 80's. I met players that were there before & after I was there...they were being paid and admitted it. Bama, UT, UGA, UF & all others well except for maybe Vandy ( team mate of mine went there) were getting paid. NIL before NIL...LOL ...

You can blame the refs all you want but this was on the coaches & the team. Our multi-million dollar team couldn't beat Yale? seriously? So how many tourneys will we be satisfied with going one and done. This team was supposed to be able to go to next weekend.
If our guys couldn't get motivate...

Not the first risk Hugh has taken on someone with the same resume. He hired a guy at Arky State & follow on to Ole Miss with a very similar resume by the name of Chris Kiffin
