The expectations are higher now. While I wouldn’t personally boo game 1 when Auburn spend the money it does and we perennially underperform the patience isn’t going to last long.

While talking with my stepdad yesterday I had an epiphany. Could teams possibly get corporate sponsorships from NFL teams and if so, would this create a feeder league scenario similar to minor league major league baseball? I feel like it’s an inevitability that something like this will happen.
Me too. I think we knock off florida,lsu and ole miss.

What’s every bodies realistic expectation? I’m pretty excited even though I’ve been an Auburn fan long enough to know better. My bold prediction is we’re much improved this year and win 9 regular season games. I’d love to be wrong and win them all lol. WDE boys!!
Maybe not but I hope he stays and carves out a spot.
The only one I’m a little surprised with is Alvin Henderson. Kid looks the part and seems to have a great attitude and gets buried every year as a former highly touted back.

Something feels good about this Golesh led team this year. I’m a big fan of the standards and attention to little detail things he is trying to implement and I hope it comes to fruition for him and us. Being cautiously optimistic about this season but I like the message the team is receiving for once. Hope we have a surprisingly good year but since I’ve been an Auburn fan since the 90s hope you all have your heart medication filled and ready. War damn eagle yall!! Glad it’s almost football season!

One thing I remember coaches talking about with cam was the size of his calf muscles. Gary can sling it and Gary’s got some calves lol. Pretty excited about him if we can hang on.

Go back and watch the Florida and Alabama games from 25 and 24. Golesh offense is not super flashy but highly efficient. They controlled clock in both games and put Florida away because of it. They got outdone in the 4th by bama but played them close for 3. I think we will be an efficient team year 1 and not flashy and be more of an Indiana than an Oregon. I hope that’s the case.
Later. That’s why I’ve turned to the approach of I dont want to know their names until I hear them called on Saturdays. Side note I’d never recruit another from the Simmons family.

09 was my favorite recruiting year as well. It felt like it was coming together for us and the trio of backs was amazing to recruit especially landing dyer.
