re: Nissan is finally updating the Z - slacker130
I'd drive it, but I'd rather have a restomod. ...

re: Kid is a cheat code playing football against supposedly 6 year olds - slacker130
Knew a kid growing up that was 5' 7" and 150lbs + a mustache in 4th grade. Looked like he was playing with toddlers. When we graduated he was still 5' 7" and 150lbs....

re: Did my first brake job last weekend. - slacker130
My wife's (no pics) Acura MDX has 60k on it. I did pads and rotors a week or so back. She had plenty of pad left on front and rear. She did have a slightly warped rotor that gave a wobble on braking is the reason I changed it....

re: Did my first brake job last weekend. - slacker130
If you notice on the rotors that you linked in your thread there are two threaded holes on the rotors. There purpose of those holes is to screw a screw in to separate the rotor from the hub. Some rotors only have one hole but really that’s all you need because once the rotor breaks the mating...

re: How much of a salary bump is needed for you to relocate? - slacker130
I think I'd need 50% more and I'm not sure I'd do it. Family is firmly entrenched and happy, we have wonderful friends, good house. Also, I'm comfortable enough that the additional $ might not be worth the sacrifice of what we have. ...

re: Auburn in the NFL - slacker130
Made me laugh that someone touched Cam's facemask and he they got a 15 yd roughing the passer penalty. Got to love the QB protection that the Pats offer. Cam couldn't buy a roughing the passer penalty at Carolina....

re: 9/11 - slacker130
Hard to believe it's been 19 years. That week sticks in my memory vividly. It's something that definitely shaped the trajectory of my life directly. Hard to believe that we're still in Afghanistan 19 years later. ...

I used a 24" x 24" paver on a 24" piece of plywood. Worked fine, but I had airspace between fire pit and paver. ...

re: It’s shocking to me how normalized receiving government assistance has become - slacker130
Also what is crazy is after Katrina, I watched many of my Republican friends and coworkers, who are very against the welfare state, stick their hands out and sop up every government assistance offered, needed or not. I remember FEMA giving away generators and my friends asked if I wanted to rid...
