Would love some advice from some CJ owners on that and where to find the most reputable person to help with it.

I've owned a CJ7 for 20 years+. You better be rich or you better have some tools, not be scared to try to work on stuff, and some Google/YouTube skills or your CJ will be frustrating.

Even with all that, it can be a pain sometimes. Still awesome to drive on a beautiful day and ignore the waves from all the new Jeeps. I only wave at vintage.

It’s like no one has Consumer Reports.

He can get some nfl folks to manage the roster. And some good coordinators. He can just recruit. He can get a few players that played for him to help him recruit. They will have good players flocking to the barn. This is not amateur sports anymore

It's really working out for UNC.

So, was he hungry at Maryland?

Short term issue in the day of NIL & transfer portal.

Either way, we go, our future is brighter today than it was this time last week.

I would like a coach that would keep the future bright in Dec 2028, not back here firing up the coaching search threads while half of the board gets to say "told you so." A couple of players getting 12 more games or so, doesn't seem weighty enough to tip the scales for me.

I'd rather fail with a young guy taking his first shot, than a retread that has failed elsewhere. Some are convinced that past failure is an aberration and they'd magically succeed at AU.
Hilarious if we were in middle school.

Play Arnold and Duece for Mercer to save AD's redshirt.

Mercer's going to score points. Their O is pretty good.

We're going to need to score some points too.

Would be happy with this hire.
FUBOTV free trial for 5 days.
It would have been an L under Hugh. We have a puncher's chance with some new energy.

Hugh was supposed to be great with QBs

Morons were saying this to other morons who then would further propagate it to more morons.

He wasn't a QB guru & it was apparent before we hired him.

You need a podcast or something. You've killed it on this board this season.

the only consolation for the past couple of coaching searches is that, save for Kiff, all of the other top choices of the AURant have flamed out as well

Yeah, I've wanted Kiffin back when we hired Gus, wanted Kiffin when we hired Harsin, wanted Kiffin when we hired Hugh.

I'm not sure this round, I know Kiffin isn't coming.
Please feel free to post your prophesies if you were a hater.

I hope to be wrong, but I think we'll just be adding Freeze to the "retire from Auburn coaching crowd" by 2026.

I'm going to laugh my arse off that we paid Gus Malzahn $25,000,000 to leave and then 2 years later hire the shittier version of him. I don't even give a frick about his transgressions. I'm just talking football.

What a fricking clown show. Is there anyway to designate OTV to basketball only? I'll wait until the 2025 coaching search to put back $ in to football.

We are dumb

Exactly! Gus > Freeze, empirically. We paid Gus to leave. Why in the frick would we then hire his wanna be?

You know who else has one of those? Hugh Freeze......and a Sugar Bowl win.

Oh shite! Got to be a long line of programs trying to hire him! I hope we took a number when we showed up.

Oh wait, literally no one wants him or has wanted him for HC except a strange bunch of AU fans that long for 8-5 seasons with visors

Wonder what booster is using Will as his mouthpiece.

Some pro-Freezer answer me this- Why has every major/minor program in the last six years skipped even looking at Freeze but we think he's Lombardi reincarnated?

8-5, but w/ tremendous baggage is all Freeze has ever been. If we go the scum route- let's get the scum w/ a ring
.

The guy is dumb if he thinks Freeze was going to lead us anywhere. He's Great Value Gus with huge baggage that would be used to bury Auburn in the long run.

He's a 8-5 guy but has serious problems. Some contingent of AU fans have equated him to Belichick. He's been passed over by every program with an opening for 6 years. Only some AU fans think he's a genius.

I'm certainly no Bible thumper. Just answer me this, why hasn't Freeze been scooped up by a program looking for a "winner" so far? You're telling me that every opening so far stepped over this turd, but somehow AU looked down and saw a diamond?

Man, I really hope Auburn locks down Freeze with a 10 year $120m contract! Look at all the other programs that have been after him, he's a hot name & we are so lucky to snag him away from all the other top programs sliding in his DMs daily. Great work Auburn PTB, can't believe we are going to hire such a in-demand guy.

I dont want another Caddy situation. Looking Back we should of gave him a real shot

Yeah, he was definitely ready to be an SEC head coach, just look at the resume:

Coaching
Henderson State (2015)
Running backs coach

West Georgia (2016)
Graduate assistant

IMG Academy (FL) (2017)
Running backs coach

Birmingham Iron (2018)
Running backs coach

Auburn (2019–2022)
Running backs coach

Auburn (2022)
Interim head coach

Auburn (2023)
Associate head coach & running backs coach

Las Vegas Raiders (2024)
Running backs coach

Released from Raiders (2025)

Any day now, he's getting that head coaching job.

The good news is we didn't hire Caddy and we aren't here facing an ugly divorce from an Auburn hero.
