Not positive, but I think the Texas schools lead for him right now. We're still recruiting him though.

Judging by his likes to the replies, it sounds like Riley-Ducker. Probably following the Crystal Ball pick from the Iowa insider. FWIW I noticed Illinois already has 2 TE commits.

Yeah I’d guess Riley-Ducker. He announces on the 7th. He was the only recruit Geriner named when asked what guys he’s recruiting hardest right now

I don’t think the “whip like motion” is a negative. I think that’s being reviewed pretty positively so far. The arm slot seems lower than others at the camp but it doesn’t seem to be hindering his performance. He’s pretty consistently coming in with high remarks
- Dan Marino

eta - Trinidad beat me to it. He must be much older than I thought. WDE!

Sorry to hijack a tad. It is Nino's fault but those Miami teams were fun as hell to watch. And the Air Coryell's Chargers. Lionel James played and I don't remember everyone else. Byron Franklin with the Bills was fun. My all-time favorite Tiger Kevin Greene accomplished things that kids today have no idea what heart and guts are. If you young'uns and 5* blinded chicken sky is falling (now) people, and I mean that with sincere respect, this is Auburn football. WDE

Keven MFing Greene

TL/DR/ Don't care? - He fricking walked on at Auburn. Reference for star watchers.

If I remember correctly, Joe Cribbs also played with the Bills at the time. William Andrews played many years with the Falcons.

Remembering the great years of the AU Wishbone, I still love watching Air Force and Georgia Tech still running 40 year old, exciting offenses.

If a walk on did the things today Kevin Greene did back then to play he wouldn't see the field due to failed tests

Not going to summarize the whole update from KN but 4* RB Damari Alston hit up KN@247. He’s down to LSU, UF, Northwestern, and Auburn.

And it sounds like he might be down the board for LSU and UF.

He announces July 25. For now, gotta like where Auburn stands.

So we are fading with Emory Floyd now? To Shane Beamer?

Yeah he’s definitely going to USCe. KN said they made him their #1 priority at safety. Auburn didn’t. Kind of a theme this month

TRob is going to take Nick Cull from us. That one will really sting. That kid is good

Auburn has been in on like 10 DBs all around the same 3*/4* ranking. Not sure exactly who the priority recruits are there

So when they’re talking about that plane, or arm slot, this is what they’re talking about. So, below, you’ll see a pretty low arm slot. When he’s rushed this is the slot he’ll default toward. In this instance, he had a WR crossing the endzone from left to right and a small window to sneak it into.

Here’s from moments before. He’s got a much higher arm slot and you can see that posture people are talking about. He’s upright, chest out, and feet are well set. It’s a 7v7 without pass rushers, but on this throw, his WR was basically a step ahead of the LOS and he took his time. Still a quick release but the mechanics are a bit better

Arm slots in general were a huge talking point in the past but now we see QBs utilizing all kids of arm slots to make these incredible throws.

Thanks TJ for the still shots of Grenier's throws.

I now get from these 2 images and the intended 'types' of throws that seeing him throw from more than 1 arm slot tells me that depending on the route, window to throw to he sees in front of him, and distance to get it to the WR the QB knows he has to make a quick throw which in most cases causes his arm to be at a low slot to get the ball out quicker IMO.

Then to me a QB like Geriner doesn't have bad throwing mechanics and that shouldn't be a negative in analyzing him....

I guess an 89 was too high of a ranking for us to pursue. We like to live in the 86 range. Should be some great battles with Arkansas and Mississippi State over the next few years.

Breath of fresh air as always I see.

When it comes to DB recruits, I’ll trust Mason’s judgement. Considering the guys we got transferred in at the position, he can be a little choosier.

I like that Alston kid. Seems like a true APB. Very wide skill set. Him and hunter I think would pair nicely together.

Meh

Gus wanted to win the numbers battle too and we see how that turned out in the end.

Jones, since it was my point
CGM 1st class 2013 10 national 6 sec coming off a 3-9 season.
CGC 21 national 5 sec coming off a 5-7 season
CTT did not show on 24/7 his 2000 class was 15 national 4 sec.

i'm hoping to be between this

Random guess but either the WR from UGA or Micah Riley-Ducker.
