I wasn't as high on him as others seemed to be anyway. He had a high recruiting rank, but he didn't do anything last year. We need a proven player.

I hope we are getting paid for the trip and not spending money that could be spent on players.
Didn't realize he was that old lol. I'm guessing he got an extra year or two for some reason.
No draft thread so posting here... Lee Hunter went second round and Romello Height could get drafted tonight. Colton Hood went 2nd round too. All of those players we're in an Auburn jersey at one point. The amount of talent that walked is crazy.
Are we still paying for visits? That would explain a few of the names that have been showing up who aren't that close to committing to us.
I wonder if those trips are even worth spending the money on at this point. Just put it towards the roster. If we can get someone else to pay for it, go for it though.
I think sweet 16 would be a reasonable expectation for this roster. Leave a little wiggle room for a round of 32 exit on some crazy tournament stuff, but other than that, that's about where I would put them.
Wish we we're getting a little more size at the 4, but doesn't look like that's coming with the other rumored names we're hearing. Roster isn't good enough to compete for a national title or anything, but might be good enough to make a run at an SEC title.
Now just really need a back up pg and a starting 4 and anything after that is just a bonus.
So looking at the roster we def still need a few things. I see people having Dowd at the 4, but he's like 6'6-6'7.. that's too small for a 4 imo. Let him play the 3.

Tahaad- Back up PG.
Overton- Still need a back up 2. If Walker grows into that great, but counting on that seems a little.. optimistic to me.
Dowd- Back up 3.
A starting 4- Freeman
And then C is already full.
Another liar off the team. Hope he transfers in conference so he can get his arse whooped too.
Good now we can whoop his lying arse twice a year.
Not taking too much from a spring game, but the C's struggling to snap the ball as much as they did is kind of concerning.
Ticket prices up, concession prices up.. constantly being asked to donate to NIL, but they can't even get a stream up for the spring game for the fans they constantly ask more from. What a joke smh.

I hope the OL and WR end up being better than this write up says or we might be in trouble lol.

Not surprised to hear about edge and CB.. almost like I saw that coming the whole time or something lol.

Nothing really matters until real games are played though. 8 wins or bust.

I don't have a problem with people transferring. I have a problem with lying about staying and then leaving anyway. That's a sorry MF who does that.

But you are probably right. I have a season or two at most left in me most likely.
If SWA ends up being a sorry arse liar this fanbase better light him the frick up. Stop giving this shite a pass. That's a sorry arse MF to lie to everyone like that.

Freeman can kick rocks too. frick that liar and don't let him back on the team. Have some standards.
Other than keeping our players, not really. Maybe you count Hall for that?
I count the Mantas in that too. I hope that's the plan. We will find out pretty soon because I doubt most of those guys wait too much longer before committing.
Catching up on this thread..

I agree all the guys averaging 5 pts a game should not be counted on as starters. Yes their % are good, but if they are such good shooters then why are they only making one 3 a game? Those a bench players.

Pett will be the PG. Don't forget last year was his first year playing PG.. got to trust he will continue to develop. He showed plenty of flashes this year, but lacked consistency and got careless with his handle too much. Also can't glance over the fact that he just had a weird shooting season.. he has tons of shots that we're halfway in and then rimmed out.

We don't have the money for an elite PG, so might as well just let that idea die.

I'm fine with any of the players we've been linked to for the most part, but those are all depth guys. I do feel like we need another C and another player we we can count on to carry the load... just don't know if we have the budget to get that. They might just try to win with a bunch of depth since we can't afford the elite players.
