That’s what I noticed. More articles negatively reflecting on Auburn in one day than they gave Greene over the last 4.

I believe Greene was an avg AD That at first ONLY did what the President wanted (Heath) such as:

cut all budgets 10% across the board which was ludicrous as your top revenue producers need every
dollar to stay up on other ADs.

Give Flo a extension and raise undeservedly

Slow walk a new football facility

And to give him all the credit for keeping Pearl was wrong. Those PTB and fans that loved Pearl and his success w our BB program was going to mutiny against Greene if he didn’t stand by Pearl and make sure he was wanted and rewarded for all his success in BB.

GREENE was just not a sports visionist when came to what Auburn needed to be successful in athletics. He was good but not good enough.

That's the best we can get for our guys?

For our OL? They are lucky they got any deal, with past performances in 2020,2021.

WHat would u think THIS OL would get in NIL?

We may wind up with no clear starter and just rotate quarterbacks in and out.

Well we have 4 quarters in game and we have 4 qbs soooooooo play 1 each quarter for the first 2 games then decide who starts Penn St

So far so good. One thing Steelers have proven. They know how to draft WRs regardless of round…

Ok we now have a director.

What the hell is the name of our NIL?

Every month it seems to have a different name?

I also keep hearing the word ‘COLLECTIVE’ thrown around even by our new director.

Is that the new buzzword if you know anything about NIL?

Mike G is right, but I don’t know what he’s saying about the last year stuff. I don’t think anybody said Harsin was above reproach, and they certainly didn’t say that over playing Bo over Finley. LINK

After watching your link , I think the best scenario IS to use the first 2 games as the barometer as who starts against Penn St.

Let Finley start Mercer game, let who’s behind him start 2nd half, and 3rd qb 4th qtr.
2nd game, let 2nd qtr start, bring in Finley 2nd half, only use 3rd string if blowout inn4th qtr.

We should have a good idea who should earn start against Penn St.

Is this not practical?

There is a reason why Brahms still continued to play. Que the blitz in the A gap untouched

I. Laughed so hard from this comment bc I remember watching games and Brahms would block some dude that was already blocked and Brahms would NEVER see that untouched LB/DB blowing right by him like he only had one eye left. So funny.

How can u say Harsin doesn’t care about wheels when he specifically likes Robby Ashford BECAUSE of his wheels and mobility. He said that in his after practice comments.

This !!!!!!!

Without hearing these QBs in conversation w HARSIN and Kiseau I get the feeling there skills were so close they went with the QB that projected a want to to sign w Auburn.

We have Zero Clue if Air Noland came across wishy washy or unsure but Harsin is in no position to ride their train.

I agree with Jo on this.

It looks to me that they just like Posse better and took him. The whole two-elite QB class in 2024 was never going to materialize (why would both guys come here?). The AU buzz on Noland started fizzling out once it became obvious that Posse's interest was high and he was nearing a decision.

This is right on.

Why would 2 4* qbs out of GA commit to us in the same year?

Doesn’t make sense but there are those who slam Harsin for not taking Noland. Just bc of ATL connections he MAY have.

And many of u that have been around the recruiting blocks for quite a few years. This notion of ONE recruit bringing in a slew of other top players is most always 99% wrong.

The PTB might just think Harsin isn’t worth ponying up the money for recruits

I don’t think it’s Harsin but the PTB don’t want to put a ton of money yet until they see these same players earning NIL money.

It is on Harsin to bring in enough top players that allows us the opportunity to compete high and beat our top conference teams and THEN the PTB Will load up on NIL.

A QUESTION? Do we know if there are greedy players that come to NIL and demand to be paid more bc of their great stats or are voted by media(for ex) as SEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK and etc.

No I talk shite when needed. I "post" my opinion. Sorry all you pansies can't handle the truth and want the mean man gone. I've done nothing to be asked to leave or be banned. Why I'm allowed to post here ummm probably be Rig, Ross, and LCT don't come here to make people post only what they agree with. If you need an echo chamber email yourself. So what is the positive instead of "hope". What tangible can you point to and counter the negative that you say I make up?

“Pansies”… that definitely old school. Ha. And I’m old school.

I like a hell of a lot of your postings but if u get called out or shot at u go personal and gets out of hand.

And how are we to know the difference of a “post” or “talk shite” when it all of a sudden it’s intertwined in the same post?

For ex. Someone brought Harsin w Brooks and Hunter and u find a way to not give a HC credit for using his staff to find possible nuggets in a lame recruiting class. Friend was hired as his assistant and u give only Friend credit for Hunter. And I realize why u don’t want to but still.

Just my hump day ‘burr’ for my day. Carry on.

Portal is better than juco. Juco you can probably count on 1 out of 7 to be serviceable

Definitely true there but HARSIN has been hit or miss on portal and lately depressing miss.

That’s a big gamble but he helped put himself there.

Even w backups to our 1’s would get us top tenish?

Tenish meaning 10-25ish?

I don’t see it.

I think they’ve had plenty of time with the ‘23 class. Obviously, they’ve had even more time with the ‘24 class but this NIL era also throws a wrench into the relationship factor, IMO.

We’ve missed on a ton of guys and, to the staff’s credit credit, they’re replenishing the board with decent options so far. Denaud and Williams aren’t on the level of the kids in state (Faulk, Hunter) but they’re both interesting looking prospects with good offer lists

I agree, Harsin has had plenty of time to eval, and go after the better '23 kids, but 2 things again are causing him to finish well.

1. He had the personal scandal hit
2. He changed too many staff after only 1 year on the job, and I think it hurt recruiting.
3. NIL. Now this one is mcuh on the admin and PTB to get this up to tope level SEC standards. HArsin contributed his share of stalling it to allow it to become competitive, but Auburn tends to do when it comes to players and money, they are just too conservative...

And and tubs knew how to stay tough w the players on the field The other team was never going to outfight them.
Good credentials. Cowboys do suck but they usually have good staffing in the organization.

But why this? Is it a new position? How does it help w improving what we are struggling in?
