The floor is 3 wins.

The ceiling is 6 wins.

Anything better than 6 wins means Chad is a Petrinoesque wizard.

Loss to Eastern 11-1

My serious response - at worse, 4-8, best possible, 9-3. Which would be a miricale and would need our competition to get smashed early in the season and fall apart. I hope we go 6-6 and get to a bowl.

6-6 or 7-5

Missing a bowl game would be pretty bad given the schedule

Also do some research on Colorado State before acting like they are a cupcake.

They're replacing a ton of their offensive starters for 2018, including their QB, four of their top five receivers, a thousand yard rusher in 2017, and three starters along the OL. Defense returns most of their production though.

Could be a game that allows the offense to figure some things out while the defense holds the fort

CSU lost 13 seniors, and 90% of thier production. They will be downright horrible.

I thought we might lose this game, but I feel better about it now that I did some research.

Wow. This game could be ugly to watch as both teams are trying to figure who they are. I hope we blow away my prediction, but we have too many question marks ourselves.

I'm looking forward to watching the team evolve as the season moves along. Do you guys remember our 2005 team? They started that season bad. Got destroyed at SoCal. We started that season so bad on defense. Then by the end of the seaon we lost a slugfest againt LSU. We improved all season. We went in to 2006 with some hope and excitement. I kind of see this as being a 2005 type season.

I predicted 2 years ago that this was the year we were supposed to be building towards. Atleast defensively. We are here, and even though I see us with some very good starting pieces, I just cant see us doing too much better than 6-6 7-5. We could get to 9 with some miracles, and other teams falling apart.

except we are figuring out who we are with sec caliber players and they're doing it with mountain west players

I honestly don’t think this team is as talent depleted as advertised. I believe we have enough above average players to get to 6. Anything below 6 with what we have is a disappointment. 6-6.

I think our best advantage this year is our schedule and our opponents schedules. Lots of questions for a lot of SEC teams going into this season.

First victory over Bama in a decade. The streak ends with Chad.

Not setting my expectations over 4-8 for CCM's first season.

Reasoning:

1. No QB with experience in the system.
2. Most players unfamiliar with system and weren't recruited for such.
3. Even with time at Clemson, CCM probably doesn't fully realize the meatgrinder of the SEC. This will be a learning year for him as well.
